Too bad that dude couldn't teach his overpopulating countrywomen how to take those pills.

The great majority of citizens are against this crazy amnesty. If anywhere near half the people favored amnesty it would have been a done deal.

Obviously you have no clue how politics works, especially with the GOPasaurs in control of the House.

The overwhelming majority of people favor banning employment discrimination against LGBT people, and yet Speaker Boner still refuses to bring the ENDA bill up for a vote. He knows it will pass, so his only option is to prevent a vote from happening.

Just like he did with the govt shutdown.

There are idiots in every group. They are no more representative of Hispanics than the KKKers are representative of whites.

But why do the Hispanic American voters want to grant amnesty to 11 million illegal aliens?

The same reason millions of white & black & asian American voters do- it's the only realistic option.

That's the same reason Reagan & the Republicans agreed to the last amnesty in 1986- it was the only realistic option.

But to your point directly, Hispanic Americans see the ugly underbelly of racism coming from many of these same Republicans who oppose ANY immigration reform. They can also identify with many illegals and realize the but for the luck of where they were born, it could be them. Most Hispanic Americans haven't benefitted from white privilege like many Americans have; they can empathize with those less fortunate.

So for a myriad of reason, Hispanic Americans support amnesty.

Maybe you should try actually talking to a Hispanic American; I'm sure they could enlighten you.

And all this time I thought it was because they speak the same language and have the same skin tone!

"It's very telling that Hispanic/Latino Americans shows no concern about any of the problems we experiencing here in America, the country they call home. They express no thought or concern on the long term double digit unemployment many AMERICAN citizens are experiencing, they say nothing about the economy, nothing about the millions of American citizens in prison or a host of other American issues. There one and only concern is demanding we legalize 20 million illegal aliens that will benefit their power structure".

"We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty,
and that is loyalty to the American people".

As for president Reagan and the Republicans.

"This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this."

Here is what I don't understand:

If this is such a great country that millions of people will risk coming here illegally, why do they want to change it once they get here? For example: part of what makes our country great is having a common language. Why do so many refuse to learn it and/or try to change it to Spanish? The Germans never did that, the Italians never did that, etc......

Obviously you went to a public school which only taught the whitewashed version of immigration history.

As I noted elsewhere, Germans & Italians & Norwegians etc all had their own communities in America where they spoke their own language and created their own version of America. Many of those communities STILL exist today; hence the terms Little Italy or Chinatown etc.

You're a confused, misguided reconquistador. You should take a break from posting your monotonous, LaRaza rantings and get down to outbreeding us. It's sad that you would think you can take the southwest over by simply having kids you may or may not be able to afford. Irresponsible buffoon.

Another ignorant from Texas who must have had a hard time making it through high school. Lots of immigrants from many countries who lack legal documents PAY taxes. Lot's of them are ashamed to beg for food in the streets; lots of them have pride in working hard for our white people; lots of them hold professional degrees which significantly contribute to the well-being of our society. Have you ever seen a white, black, or other ethnic group working the fields to feed us? Ignorance promotes hatred. Get educated before you make blatant comments!

Great reply. Now pipe down and get in the corner. You obviously have nothing to contribute. Go play your breeding games somewhere else slacker.
