Goodbye.
Reza,

I have never called you a name on this comment board. I don't appreciate your name calling, it just helps prove my point.

Just because I don't agree with your one-sided, un-American (Pro-Israel)view of the world, doesn't make me an "Idiot"!

Calling you and idiot is bad to you. Too me calling me Un-American is horrid. And yes, you are right...I shouldn't call you an idiot.
But I think you do lack some skills and humanity.
And, if you are looking for those that are Un-American don't look at Israel as much as you can look at some of their neighbors, who you seem to support.

Strange that even when Israel has clearly been shown to have murdered many US servicemen, Israel supporters still can't say "Sorry", even about that.

I'm not bemused...sorry was said, many times and if some cases to individuals.

I am disgusted that you can't let it go after all these years and you seem to find the terrorists bombing all over the place acceptable. You even say maybe we are too hard on them.

No wonder Jews need Israel, most of you can't support them even in time of need. No wonder Hitler was able to charm the Nazi's and you all ignored it for years.

We were attacked by Islam, the Cole was attacked by Islam, UK, Spain and American vacation spots were bombed by Islam...our embassies were bombed by Islam.

I don't think Israel was right, but my Gosh, let it go in view of what we take from the Religion of Peace.

This is exactly what Israel wants America to focus on - Islam. So the long mission to change the hearts and minds of Americans continues.

Why is Islam America's enemy? I will help you: Oil and Israel

Go and read what is being said of the US on a place like Aljazeera, or from the Islamic leaders. Do you really believe everything they say?

You sound like it...

We support Israel for a number of reasons, they are our ally, we sure don't expect to get much out of them in the way of oil. If we were out for oil, we'd support the oil producing countries...we don't. Besides, we really have enough oil in Alaska and off shore. And, we could encourage development of new sources of energy.

As far as Israel....just think of all that the Muslims have done to us. Forget the Cole, think of the Pueblo, attacks on our embassies, kidnapping and parading our people during Carter's disgusting Presidency, bombing our friends in the UK and Spain. Then of course WTC.9/11. Why not complain about that...

REZA,

Nothing you can say about Israel has any weight here. For you, Israel can do nothing wrong and the Arabs/Islam can do nothing right.

You will never see it any other way. You are a hopeless cause regarding this story line. You will continue to make excuses for Israel, regardless of the continuing LIES.

and you, like the KKK will never see that Christians have done wrong, and you make excuses for that.

And, like Islam, you think that there attacks on the rest of the world are justified. If you aren't lifting your rear toward the sky a few times a day, you soon will be, for you will have no choice.

And, you are right nothing I can say about Israel will have weight here,, meaning you, yes I know it.

Those that hated Jews before WW2 went underground for a bit...but they have popped up again, and now use the Nazi loving lovers of Hitler in the middle east as front runners. At least Islam didn't pretend after the war was won, now all they do is try to pretend it didn't happen as you pretend the Cole and the other attacks from Islam, are not worth mentioning.

Reza,

Here we go again...

Now I'm a Nazi lover and KKK...blah, blah, blah! Please! Give it up.

This is a message board about The Israeli Attack on the USS Liberty.

Can't you get that through you head?
We are not here to talk about Israels enemies.

We are not here to talk about the Cole or the 250 U.S.Marines killed in Lebanon protecting Israel!

This message board is about a United States Ally deliberatly MURDERING 34 Americans and wounding 171 others. Not to mention, the trashing of a $40 million dollar Super Spy Ship.

You continue to go off topic and run PR for Israel. You are a loyal Israeli citizen Reza. They should be very proud of you.

But, as an American, you lack some basic values needed to qualify as an "American Patriot"...

Stop the name calling.

I was born in America, served in the USMC and I'm proud to call myself a Christian (Catholic).

I'm not Anti-Semiitic, I'm just looking for answers to questions that have gone unanswered for far too long!

I am prejudice...I am from the area you condemn. I saw history and saw errors on all sides, including the Christians...but Israel is the best friend the US has in that whole area.
And, before you say anything, if they really were as bad as you say, don't you think they would have grabbed some of the OIL? They just wanted a country after the way you and yours allowed them to be thrown out of Europe...

And you are a one trick pony...this is only one issue in a very sad and long saga. Israel and our country has made peace with this. You can't let it go because of your issues.

Big deal, I was a soldier too.

So was my dad who was killed in Hebron, and he was a Christian. I am tired of this not being an issue.

I am tired of you not recognizing Israels accomodating us in the UN and allowing us to use their military bases, etc. It puts them in jeopardy.
Do you remember how they didn't retaliate when SCUDS were being launched at them during the Kuwait invasion. Israelis were killed...and it was at our request they were allowed to be put in harms way.

Don't tell me I am narrow mined..look in the mirror and you will see what that looks like.

I am through with you...and ashamed that we are fellow Americans.

Reza,

My prejudice against Israel is with their GOVERNMENT not their PEOPLE.

You HATE the Palistinans as a people. You HATE Iraq, Iran, Suadi, etc, etc, etc....You blame them for all of Israels problems.

Israel has to bare much of the blame for the situation we now have in the Middle-East. If you can't see that, then there is no way we will ever find common ground.

But let me remind you again...This comment board is about the...

ISRAELI Attack on the USS Liberty, on June 8, 1967...Killing 34 Americans and Injuring 171, along with Trashing a $40 million dollar Super Spy Ship.

These were AMERICANS that were "Murdered" by Israelis Reza. You don't seem to have any concern over their deaths.

Israeli deaths are the only ones you seem to care about.

Why did you leave Israel anyway. I suggest you move back to your homeland!

I left because I hated the way I was being treated by the Palestinians who forced my parents out of business and abused the Church of the Nativity using its interior for training of terrorists..they even defecated on the floor. They demanded we store arms in our business and "requested" we have some special people stay with us. As we didn't want to take sides, we were up a tree and as we didn't want to be used as a front for them, yes they do use citizens to hide their wanted men, my parents moved out of the West Bank and I moved my famiy to the US.

Do I blame those countries for all of Israeli problems, well what other problems do Israelis have except the safety of their people. And, I don't hate all Muslims, of course I have friends from the area and all are not Christian. They have family in my area and we celebrate some holidays together...and all belong to a group that deals with understanding of the problem. Yes, Americans were killed.
Yes, that is horrid. I just have feelings on such issues that include the various people killed by friendly fire...by all. Even my beloved US is not free of some guilt.

Oh yes...Christian, I am an Christian Palestinian, an Arab. I just happen to see good in Israel, too. And you can't because you are so full of hate for Israel and thus lack the ability to understand the hell the Jews, as a people, have gone through, over the years and can only see one moment in time.

Reza,

You really don't know me very well. The people of Israel need to understand that the world has been watching them for over 60 years now.

The fact that the UN gave them land that didn't belong to them, was where this mess started.

The UN didn't have the right to "Steal" land from the Palistinians and give it to another group, regardless of who they were.

Why should the Palistinians be mad? The Palistinians have been treated like prisoners since the very begining.

They rely on Israel for water and electricity. When Israel gets mad, they cut the power and water. How should these people feel. These children haven't a chance. Yet, the Israeli children have it all.

Sure, there are bombers and that's a very bad thing, but these people have been pushed into a corner and they are running out of hope.

The Israelis fire missles into crowded streets without regard for the innocent people in the target zone.

No one deserves this kind of treatment.

Terrorists don't deserve to live, regardless of which side of this issue they are on.

The Palistinians need their own "State" just like Israel.

If these people are treated fairly, peace may be possable. But, a one-sided powerhouse like Israel, with unconditional backing by the United States, does not serve the peace process.

Both the Israelis and Palistinians deserve peace, but the direction we seem to be headed is WWIII...

Christian Carpenter your ignorance on the formation of the State of Israel and where the land came from has made this discussion and the basis of your opinion quite clear.

First of all, there was no Palestine, it was a territory and all people of all religions were Palestinians. My family was considered a Christian or rab Palestinian. Additionally, the Jews were called Palestinian Jews. So your statement regarding Palestinians deserving the land is invalid. Just to qualify this even further, the paper of the area was called the Palestinian Post. The land became British and French after it was taken from the Ottoman Empire.
Jews decided to call themselves Israeli after the State was created by the UN. Muslims didn't call themselves Palestinians until after 1967. 90% of the total land was given to the Muslim Palestinians, and that land is now called Jordan. Prior to this it was TransJordan and it really grew much bigger. Gaza belonged to Egypt. Additionally, many of the Palestinians living around the area are people who were thrown out of Jordan because of their hostility to the government.

The attack on the Liberty is the topic and you refuse to entertain the idea that even the US has made mistakes. In the whole scheme of things, our killings are as bad as those on the Liberty and neither you nor I know what went on between their governments.

You have lots of problems buddy and seeing me as not an American is one of them. Not believing as you does not make me less loyal to this country. My past brings me knowledge that you obviously do not see nor care to find out or your posts would not be filled with such mistaken concepts.

And one more thing, the Palestinians generally as does Hezbollah and Hamas hide their weapons and soldiers behind the common population. The current rockets being launched are in front of peoples homes. They also move their leaders and terrorists in ambulances, against laws and rules.

The attacks are directly on the Israelis and their people, with no reason to send them to these towns.
That is why the children of Gaza and the people are being hurt...they are being used by their leaders.

I will not answer your messages as you are too narrow in your thinking and very misinformed. You don't want peace for both, you want Israel punished.

Wrong again. Your hatred for the Israeli side and your inability to let the US and Israel work this out puts you in the place of a traitor. You are siding with the enemy who is constantly bringing this up. Read the Arab comments on their newpapers.

Additionally, it was never land that belonged to any group after the ottoman Empire. Then it belonged to England and France, who disagree with you because they didn't feel the Arabs owned and existed on all the land, only an amount which was given to the now so-called Pal Muslims. It still exists, it is called Jordan. Gaza was Egypts..

And, once again you stay on subject which is what was going on at the time of the attack on the ship.

And, by the way, you are using phrases I find offensive and you are writing back one-sided Pal lies. Usually Nazi agree with them, too. Often the KKK so excuse me for calling you names.. I will ignore that you are calling me a Zionist in a negative manner, and I gave up my citizenship when I became an American.

Yes, a hater...or you would know the whole story, not just the revisualized version. I was born a Palestinian, a Christian Palestinian or an Arab Palestinian...not a Jewish Palestinian...no one was called Muslim Palestinian until after 1967 when they decided to rename the area and history..without becoming a State.
Before then, we were all Palestinians.
