I cannot get over what a complete a** Dreyfus was on Huckabee, what a rambling buffoon he proved himself to be.

Bill Mahr mentioned the spaghetti monster not spiderman.

Seriously, if Americans are to be judged by Fox news presenters and the drunkards that appear on the show, then hey, why not have the spaghetti monster as president, surely do a damn better job than either of the candidates running for office now.

Anyone have a youtube link to the Dreyfuss interview

Why is it so important for Bill Mayer to prove there is no God, whats the point. Some believe, some do not. It is their choose.
Bill, you have way to much time on your hands. If you are having a problem finding important things to focus on, I would be happy to give you the # of a volunteer center near you!

Bill Mahr is a Jack*ss. He's a smug little atheist - his mother probably dropped him on his head a few times in his infancy.

Hey Bill! Where's your proof that there is no god? Can't answer that one? I didn't think so. Where do you get off judging and mocking people who do believe in god? You're just as likely to be wrong - probably more so. Jack*ss.

I don't even know what to say regarding Richard Dreyfus. I felt like an idiot at first, not being able to comprehend any point he was trying to make.

He sounded like a complete moron. Huckabee -- why didn't you interrupt him?????

Why do aetheists believe they have a patent on the truth? Their own "faith" is so strong... That's what aethiests have - faith. It takes faith to disbeleive...it takes just as much faith to disbelieve as it does to believe... Bill Mahr just like most every other atheist look foolish in their smug sureness.
The problem with athesists is their inherant lack of respect for people who disagree with them. There's no proof either way. Why do they pretend that there is?
And the loss of faith is destroying society - like it or not. How else can people be so stupid and blind as to nominate the likes of Barack Obama?
__________
"the problem with atheists"
First of all, this is a disingenuous point of view. You don't "respect" atheists either, which is obvious when you say a loss of faith is "destroying society". People are "stupid and blind" to nominate Obama, yet you demand respect? Screw you.

I just watched the rerun of the show and my goodness, that was uncomfortable to watch. What was Richard D. droning on about? Poor Huck! You know he wanted to jump in there, but he was trying to be the anti-OReilly I guess. I haven't seen Mahr yet, probably won't watch it b/c he's a waste of my time. I agree, why does he want so badly to disprove God? Why is it his life's ambition? Is he scared, threatened? I don't get it. Just live your life and let us live ours.

because religion is the root of many of the world's problems. and i'd be smug, too, if i was as smart as he is. basically, he infuriates you because he doesn't give a crap if you think he's wrong, because you're too biased by your religion to be open to him, stupid.
He also admits that he doesn't know, and he's not about to make something up to fill that void. Huckabee's viewpoint is simplistic.

Huckabee must be running out of guests to have Dreyfus and Bill Mayer on his show. To let Dreyfus ramble on like he did is just a waste of my time and I'm sure of other viewers to listen to him. What's more, I thought Huckabee was a Christian??? How can he let someone like Bill Mayer and Dreyfus express their atheistic views and not defend his own? And then, to thank
him (Dreyfus) for that bunch of nonsense he spewed on the show?

Huckabee must be running out of guests to have Dreyfus and Maher on his show. It's not only becoming a waste of my time but is really upsetting to listen to Dreyfus say nothing and Maher spew on about his atheistic views. I thought Huckabee was a Christian so why does he let Dreyfus and Maher go on and on without defending his Christianity in any way? I agree with Bill O'Reilly who says Dreyfus is a pinhead. That's an understatement.

Why don't you try asking the average Chinese person how he or she feels living under an atheist and communist regime? The Chinese athesists are mass murderers of their own people - 2nd only to Hitler. So much for peaceful athesists. They rival the religious faithful when it comes to treating people like cattle and in their own mass slaughter.

Religion has little to do with killing - bad people kill people. Ideologies and religions (atheism is a religion too) are simply window dressing.

You people are slow... You're probably one of Obama's useful idiots.

Definately stoned on something. He's a babbling fool; but remember he did go to Oxford for three years so he must be right!

Regarding Richard Dreyfuss I think O'Reilly really should of had him on his show and given him his three minutes of uninterrupted air time because then everybody would see so clearly what a nut case he is and much worse than a pinhead. His ramblings that jumped hither and yon on Huckabee were not of a normal man waxing philosophical but bordered on someone mentally disturbed and in need of medication. For all his supposed intellectual babble he expressed to thousands what a fool he actually is. We had a good laugh here at my house. I think he has drank/smoked more than just the koolaide!!!

O'Reilly would of called him nut to his face, and am disappointed Huckabee did not and should of. I won't be watching Huck if more garbage gets put on.

The other guest, Bill Mahr, seemed to be a bitter sad type person. Huckabee should of told him don't knock religion if you haven't tried it. The only way to really test it is to live it!
Steve wrote:
In all seriousness, did Mr. Dreyfuss have a stroke? If he didn't then he appeared to be drunk or on some kind of dope.
He's a bitter liberal who immediately complained about how O'Reily called him a pinhead. He could not conceal his vehement hatred for Fox and Fox's Bill O'Reily and Hannity.
Then he went off into some drunken spiel about time and how we don't have time to make thoughtful choices anymore.
If only all of us could live the charmed life that these actors in hollywood get to lived - There's a complete dettachment from reality among these people. Why else would they be begging America's enemies to slit their throats?

I didn't jump to the "drunk or stoned" conclusion of Richard Dreyfuss' behavior last night watching Huckabee. However, now that many of you mention it, it did seem that way. I jumped more to the smug, pompous, professor wanna-be, "I went to Oxford" 15 minutes of fame conclusion first.

Although his ideas seemed relevant, the validity of his ideas was woefully lost in his delivery.

Either way, my hat is off to Huckabee. He showed more restraint then I ever could have. My guess is he won't have the "professor" back on his show any time soon.

"should of", "would of"...since when did the word "of" replace the word "have"? Learn your own language, Kathy
