CHICAGO (AP)- President Barack Obama's Homeland Security chief will visit Illinois Fon riday as part of the administration's immigration reform push.
A news release from the Department of Homeland Security says Secretary Jeh Johnson will conduct site visits to review facilities run by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
He will also take part in a community meeting and meet with immigration reform stakeholders.
Johnson took office in December and has been conducting a review that Obama ordered to see if the administration's deportation policy can be made more humane.
Johnson has said the review could result in changes to a contentious program that hands over people booked for local crimes to federal immigration authorities.
Why go to immigration reform stakeholders??
JUST DO YOUR JOB!!! DEPORT ALL illegal immigrants..
