John McCain is running for President on his one great asset, his experience and strength in military and foreign affairs. My question is, what experience, what strength? This is a man who graduated third from the bottom of his class of almost 900 students, crashed 5 planes, flew only 21 hours before he was captured and that is it. He has no military command experience, never lead any troops, and cannot even get the factions in Iraq straight when he has been corrected over and over. The only experience this man has is D.C., and that is exactly what we do not want. I want intelligence, fresh ideas, and promises kept. Senator McCain cannot even operate a computer by his own admission, but we are to trust him running our country in a global economy? The McCain who ran in 2000 is not the McCain running now. He has lost his edge, he seems at times to run off the track and he certainly is not grasping basic facts about the war. He is NOT experienced, he is just another rerun. I want a new show.

There are several other reasons why I don't like him for President, but the latest fiasco iced the cake for me as I'm sure it has the same effect of millions of other women. He totally disrespected his own wife and daughter in front of 50,000 bikers and millions of Americans watching it on TV. If he cares so little about his own family, how much do you think he cares about the rest of the country.

What Obama is proposing makes more sense than "We have to drill and drill now".
You may not like it, and have your expectations set too high, but it is what it is.......

Most of us with half a brain already have properly inflated tires. It's the rest of you who likely don't.

And you think that somehow, magically, we're going to have all sort of alternative energy sources to get us off foreign oil?

We need more supply- of our OWN oil. Only drilling will provide that. It can happen a lot sooner than Obama is lying about.

I simply said, doing things to help ourselves.

I also simply said, Obama or Mccain do not have any "immediate" answers to the energy crisis.

I also simply said doing "simple" things like turning the heat down to 65, buring wood to heat the house, walking if there is no immediate need to drive, putting on warmer clothes, you know common sense stuff. Use your common sense.

The comment about the little girl asking Obama a question has to do with is decided lack of an answer. Which he is good at giving. If the best he can come up with is that lame uh uh the country isn't what it use to be.....than we are SOL.
I would like to know the real reason he is running since he stated 3yrs ago "I believe in having the expeience needed for a job before applying for it and I will not have that experience in only 3yrs" 4months after saying that he decided to start campaigning for a job is in not ready to assume. So 120 days into his "new job" he decided it wasn't good enough for him. He has one of the largest absentee records in the Senate........even higher than McCain & Clinton.

I don't disagree. However, is it possible that instead of talking about why you DON'T like Obama, people could understand your motives better is you talk about why you DO support McCain?

Let's look at it logically. People are saying over and over again, "I don't like Obama because...." "Obama is a ...." "Michelle hates America because...." Most of it without merit. Yet McCain is not held to the SAME standard. In this particular election, what is the EASIEST (no correct) assumption?

My thing is hold BOTH candidates to the SAME standard. Treat them BOTH the same. If you feel that after a thorough review McCain is the better candidate, vote for him. However, you should be able to say WHY.

Most of the people don't.
