Well seeing as areas that are gun friendly has less violent crime than anti gun areas then I would have to say yes.

It's WAY more effective to open carry. That way the criminals know not to f- with you from the start and will find an easier unarmed target.
I always thought is seemed kinda cowardly to have to conceal carry. Be a man and open carry.
We who carry concealed worry about scaring people like you,who would pee their drawers seeing a firearm on the hip of a private citizen. We don't want a bunch of liberals walking around in public reeking of urine, with embarassing dark blotches around the crotch.

I can't help it if the sheeple cower at the sight of a gun being carried in public.

Would it be easier for you if you didn't know I was carrying a gun?

I'd think you'd rather at least know who does or doesn't have a gun.

Your remarks are beyond the pale ludicrous!
If a violent criminal may rush you, and remove your gun before you have the chance to react, then where's you protection?
If the violent thug can't figure whether you're carrying, then he's left to guess at whether he'll be successful at any attempt at all.
If a violent thug KNOWS you're armed by dint of seeing the gun, then he has the element of surprise on his side, because may then plan for your movements.
But if he can't tell whether you're armed, then he must calculate other factors which will very likely cause him to choose another less possibly dangerous target.
Violent criminals are, by their very nature, COWARDS: They seek prey which are the least likely to offer much resistance.
So, you're not a VIOLENT CRIMINAL, are you? You begin to sound like one.
Yes, and their most likely prey is someone they presume to be unarmed.

The guns are already there; it's just a matter of whether you know they have guns or not.

Unless they have a death wish, a criminal will seek out someone they presume is unarmed for their victim over someone they can see is armed.

Why would I be afraid of a coward who hides his gun?

I openly carry whenever I take my gun with me; mostly because it's my right to do so.

News Flash for ya Jones..... MOST States do NOT permit OPEN carry in public, while CONCEALED carry is. For the very reason I cited. Open carry for hunting, target shooting/competition,ect is allowed but not a trip to the Mall. Better check your State firearms laws so they won't whack your pee-pee.

it is you who is too afraid to leave the house without firepower. The rest of us are the normal ones who don't suffer from your paranoid delusions.

Newsflash-

Only 5 states ban open carry of handguns- California, Florida, Illinois, Oklahoma, & Texas.

In the other 45 states it is completely legal to openly carry, including on a "trip to the mall", though 12 of them do require you to get a permit to do so. In the other 33 (including my own state of Michigan) you can just strap on whatever gun you want, as long as it is visible. Michigan also offers conceal-carry, but as I said before, why would I want to hide it.

I carry a gun when I leave the house because my job dictates. I've carried since age 17 when I entered the military. 40 years later its kinda hard to break old habits...... But y'know, the adage rings true. You never need a gun until you NEED a gun. You're free not to carry if you wish but I'll be damned if I'll let the likes of YOU tell me I can't.

Heres your card:

Liberalism/Progressivism: Characterized medically as a mental disorder. Causes are suspected to be Genetic. Studies suggest that the gene that triggers maturity doesn't develop properly retarding or stunting ability to discern reality from fantasy. Symptoms include adolescent denial of factual circumstance, lying and fits of pique when confronted with the truth. Other symptoms include a childish desire coveting others' belongings as well as delusional ideas of superiority over others.

There is no known cure.

Well strap on that hogleg Pilgrim and take a paseo down 8 Mile. We'll pass the hat for your bail money..... NOT. No really, take that open carry stroll in any large city in Michigan and you will not be ignored. SOME busybody or concerned citizen WILL call the police and you'll be explaining your "Constitutional right" to carry. I know you have it and agree 100%,but the more liberal element, like you,see fit to be squeamish about such things.
