mmmm Dutch Oven Chief I agree with what you said about the taxes but I was wondering do you know that the park district is not part of the Midlothian administration. That is why they asked for the referendun to make our park just as good as the others and did you vote for it? by the way alot has changed since you were involved in T Ball.

I know the PD is not part of the administration but I am pretty sure they get the majority of their funding based on taxes paid by Midlothian residents.

I know a lot has changed since I was involved (although it was only a few years ago I "retired". The organization now makes gobs of money from the Vegas nights that assists them immensely in their program! We ran the league on a shoestring budget every year.

And, yes, I did vote for the park district referendum!

You know I had this big, several paragraph reply specifically to that person from OF, but I since I can't say anything nice I'll just keep it to myself.

I will say that our "low taxes" is not the issue (or at least not the only one). It's mismanagement of the previous administration that ran their regime for several decades. Hopefully our money will be better spent now.
