<quoted text>Happy New Year, baby! I was just thinking about you. A pal of mine, the one I baked the cactus cake for in October is having his annual AFTER Christmas party and asked me back then to do the cactus cake again for this Saturday. It seemed like a good idea on Oct. 2nd, but now I am sort of burned out! A promise is a promise, however.
How were YOUR holidays? Did you and your hubby have a great time? We sure did!
Best year to you..C.....
Happy new year and happy holidays to you too!

Mostly spent it doing absolutely nothing, but it was nice to be able to do that. I didn't have time or money to make that recipe, but I'll keep it saved and ready for when I do.
I spent a lot of the end of the holidays browsing through different companies in my "line of work" because my contract is almost at an end where I am now.

My other half and I had some alone time for the first time in a while and that was great.:P
