With all due respect to the family of Martin, "Stand Your Ground" did not apply in her son's case. One cannot retreat when one is on their back, on the ground, being assaulted like the Martin/Zimmerman case. Our society is screwed up because we keep protecting criminals that prey on innocent victims, and when a victim of violence protects themselves the liberals look at that person as if they did wrong.

Our society needs "stand your ground" laws and we need people willing to protect themselves against violent criminal acts.

With all due respect to the family of Martin, Mom lost him to the street, they should accept their own part of the responsibility.

Well, dumbass, after some thug starts beating the crap out of you while holding you on the ground with his knees on your torso, retreat is hardly an option anymore, is it?

That woman needs to learn some common sense.

I can clarify it for her, don't go beating on hispanic guys with guns and they won't shoot you. In fact I will take it further, just don't go beat on people period.

Trayvon should never have laid his hands on that man, there is just nothing else to say.

The woman met with Sharpton and the ambulance chasing Black bigots to make the immediate decision to harass and extort money out of the homeowner's association, which they accomplished in short order. That money, as it turns out, was undeserved. That's why they decided to move on it so fast, so that emotion and fear would dominate the minds of the association victims. They knew Trayvon had attacked Zimmerman. They knew there was a high probability of Zimmerman being acquitted. She had shown her fractured perception of family relationships. She sent her son to be with a man she knew was a thug and had gang connections. She didn't care about her former husband, nor her son, when the chips were down and money to be made.

Knowing there are monies to be made still from the hangers on to the myth of Trayvon the victim, she's become vocal again to test those waters.

Typical black, she didn't care about her son as much as she cares for the riches that came afterwards.
The stand your ground law is a good law and should be implemented in every State. Amazing how fast blacks jump on the band wagon when it benefits ONLY them.
You never hear on the news anymore how blacks just kill for the fun of it. Or how blacks kill others without any remorse or sense.
Most blacks are out of control and have no common decency or care about others. Not even their own.
No one saw any riots against Whites in Florida. That's because Whitey has a gun and they would have a lot of trayvons in the morgue. That is how you control animals out of their cage.
