Idaho Statesman Endorses Christy Perry in District 13

Christy Perry would bring a unique skill set to a citizens' Legislature.

She's in small business, the co-owner of a gun shop. She is also seeking a master's degree in public administration at Boise State University. As a former intern in BSU's government relations department, she worked closely with Bruce Newcomb, the respected former House speaker who is now an aide to university President Bob Kustra. This background makes Perry a good pick in the May 25 GOP primary over incumbent Rep. Steve Kren.
