Terry Naig wants the word to get out: Haiti needs homes. And he's hoping that others throughout Iowa will step up to lend their support.

then tell the haitans to get busy and build houses. I don't think any haitans ran to florida to help rebuild after their major hurricanes, or to japan to rebuild after their tsunami.

building homes is important but creating jobs is that too. Instead of shipping homes to Haiti. They should ship the machinery and start a factory localy employing Haitians. A factory can give up to 1000 people (and their families) a sustainable job and income. With the multiplier effect this will result in over 10.000 people benefiting from the effort. www.veerhousevoda.com

@robininhaiti, great idea. @lololol, you don't really know about the work ethics of Haitian. If the people had the resources, trust me, they would rebuilt themselves. Haitians are hard working people. Do some traveling and learn about other nations. It will do you some good. EDUCATION is the key.
