I tried to tell you fellows we were serious.

Let me repeat:

We are one of the most intelligent states.

We are Iowa.

We will not be made the laughingstock of the Midwest.
No you use a native American word for meeting. Tasseling is considered a right of passage for your teens and you have the home of the "duke". Other than that you will now set a precedent on allowing discrimination through the use of constitution bending, and are attempting to link the church and state. That's American?

I don't have the time to read or answer your insipid, self-serving rant in toto.(I, unlike you 24/7 queer commenters, work for a living). However, I did NOT try to imply that you are/were a namblan ... but I think you KNOW that. I wrote that Nambla or any group of deviants LIKE NAMBLA could make the same phony, baseless, illogical arguments that you queers thrinve on making. Also, Bundy was a homosexual. He spent many weeks living in queer bath houses.
Remember something: you can't even persuade orthodox Jews to your sexually-deviant way of "thinking." So how do you expect to persuade any thinking normal?
You queers are so silly.
Ah. So not having any factual information or basis in law, you simply resort to evasion, denial and name-calling.

Ted Bundy is very much heterosexual, by his own admission and that of several psychiatrists who've examined him and his case over the years.

Orthodox Judaism recently came out with a statement that acknowledged that even homosexuals are created, like all human beings,'b'tzelleh Elohim', meaning in the image of G-d. They stand by the prohibition of homosexual sex but they have now called for an end to discrimination against homosexuals.

When you decide to speak to facts or law, let me know. I've continued to be civil and courteous to you and will do so. I've not called you names or attempted to associate you with any vile group. You CAN NOT make the same claim.

Yes.

I tried to tell you we are serious.

Tonight my book club is reading The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. Any of you fellows prepared to discuss it?

Face it. You're going to lose in Iowa.

So, let me see if I have this right ... you think that in matters of Iowa State Constitutional Law, that YOU are more wise, more intelligent and/or more learned and deliberative on the issue of same-sex marriage than the Justices of the Iowa State Supreme Court, whose oath sworn job and DUTY is to defend and uphold the State of Iowa Constitution?!!
Where did you get you law degree from?
Eric
It's a political question.

Your groups trolled Iowa setting up that lawsuit.

How do you know I don't have a law degree? This is Iowa.

I admit, it was a guess that you don't have a law degree, because you made no citations of relevant law and thus far, still have not.

We,'our groups' did not have to "troll" anything. There are legitimate LGBT couples, citizens of Iowa, who desire devoutly to be treated as equals under the law and have their marriages recognized by the State. This is fundamental liberty of which we speak. This is not some abstract concept, but real peoples lives, who happen to be gay or lesbian.

There is no basis in law to deny citizens equality and the only way we can lose in Iowa is for you to enshrine into law, inequality, which is fundamentally anti-American and anti-Constitutional, both Federal and State.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aries

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
