So when does the emergency trial start for the parents who allowed their child to have access to a gun which subsequently resulted in his suicide?
We need to act quickly before their lack of parenting skills results in another senseless death.
You put a gun in your child's hands, and he decided to shoot himself. You need to take responsibility for your actions and drop this charade. You must know, on some level, that your actions killed your son.
AMEN! You nailed it! But these ppl will never accept responsibilty for that. No parent wants to admit they made mistakes. Yes its sad but FFS k2 is not to blame.

OKAY if it was accidental death then WHY on gods earth is every bit of news saying K2 caused his SUICIDE? So the parents and everyone else have LIED to the authorities and govt. That's ricockulous. And its a FELONY to file false reports I say everyone gets charged with felonies!
Hmmm... if I wanted to cut down on my competition in the alcohol/drug sales business... what would I do? I know, make my competing drugs illegal! Behind closed doors (over a tasty adult beverage and a fine cigar) state representatives and executives from the Alcohol and Tobacco companies are the ones that are making sure their competition is held at bay. There are billions of dollars at stake and letting an outsider (K2) get a piece of that pie isn't in the cards.

This kid made a decision that went all wrong and his family, friends, and K2 users are paying the price. He could have done the same thing behind the wheel of a car after drinking a bottle of bourbon and you would've only read about it for a day, maybe two! Since it was K2 and not alcohol, well he gave those executives and our state representatives reason to lessen the competition one more time under the guise of "addiction, mind altering, killer drugs" and unfortunately for you users of K2, this is another case of "money wins - you lose". As far as this young man, well he has become another sacrificial lamb of those in power!

You are sooo right! Never thought of it that way. I personally have never used K2, but something like it. and I didn't hallucinate like they claim he did. But I do have pneumonia and that made me hallucinate!

You ALL are a bunch of idiots-how you can justify that drugs don't lead to people-espescially adolescents-making stupid decisions and judgements. Especially, if kids have fools like YOU to look to as "role models"!

One person dying on K2 is enough to constitute legislation against the substance, but the countless lives lost in alcohol related incidents does nothing to stop the production or advertisement of alcoholic beverages. Corruption such as this is nothing less than disgusting.

And how do you expect to regulate it so kids can't get it when it is illegal?

The kid was messed up. No offense but I can factually say that as he killed himself. Its a good thing he wasn't found with a glass of milk in his hand or they'd have a nation wide milk recall. Is America this stupid? Why not test his underarm deodorant, his spray on cologne, the toothpaste he brushes with, the chemicals in the snacks he eats, the air quality of the place he lives, how his parents treated him, what his home life was like, did he watch a lot of porn, did he loose his girlfriend, I can go on and on. I'll wager to guess he committed suicide cause his parents were retarded or at least mildly retarded. Its probably more likely than k2 ever causing it. Duh just duh. And yes I am an expert in all things. Just like the kids parents who are for sure K2 killed their son, and not their lack of attention, emotion, stability, etc.

Personally, K2 is a great way for me to relax and just unwind. It has some of the same effects as marijuana, but doesn't leave you feeling lethargic afterwards. And, whoever posted the post about their son killing himself after smoking K2 is full of shit. Your son didn't kill himself because of K2, he killed himself because he was suicidal, there's a difference dumbass. I seriously can't stand it when people try to blame their problems on drugs and use it as a crutch. Can I get a big hell yeah if you wanna keep K2 legal ?

I truly can’t believe any of what I have read, both side of this argument are asinine. First off marijuana was grown by George Washington in his back yard and he smoked on a regular bases. Second off some of the greatest artist of all time used drugs such as acid heroin marijuana, and booze, and if you don’t think so turn off your classic rock radio, put down some of you favorite books by Hemmingway, Shakespeare, Hunter S. Thompson, and Gore Vidal. Thirdly some of those artist have killed themselves, was it because of the drug or was that person nuts PROBLY BOTH!!!!! If you have an unstable mind and drop acid you’re going to be fucked up. Did this kid have an unstable mind? I don’t know we never will, I’m sorry he is dead. But, one thing is certain you can’t blame the actions of a child, adult, rock artist, or an author on a drug just the action they took to end up departed. Finally K2 is a drug and that child choose to smoke it, and now he is dead. SO STOP BLAMMING K2 for this WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT

"Green Ghost is 100% legal everywhere. They ship a blend which does not contain the ingredients banned in 8 or so states. They also ship their regular awesome blend to the other 42. They sell both at GreenGhostHouse.com , they take cash or credit cards or paypal. If you've never tried it, give it a shot. Way better than K2 or Spice. Use coupon code CASPER for extra gram in September. Pure and delicious and way potent."

Quote from another site. I tried their regular chronic. Slays k2 and spice I do agree. Way better stone and flavor. Pure.

OOOHHHH I bet you like to drink or smoke Cigarettes though, cuz their legal! Well they both cause MANY DEATHS EVERY DAY! If pot was legal kids wouldn't be out there scoring incence and robitussin trying to get high. Other countries with laws that are Lax or decriminalized have LESS CRIME and ADDICTION Issues. Explain that to us oh wise one!

That is most awesome. You gotta love a country that lets you buy alcohol and you cant smoke marijuana. i never heard of anyone who killed a bunch of people from driving under the influence of pot, but numerous times daily it happens to persons who drink alcohol. when will everyone wake up and realise the only reason pot is illegal is because of corporate america.there is too much money to be made from selling alcohol
and plenty of people drink and then kill themselves but no one makes a front page news story about it. plus people who drink go out and kill other people that had nothing to do with them.

Once again lying, corrupt, politicians using "reefer madness" scare tactics to justify intrusion in the personal lives of so called American Citizen. Your kid killed himself because he is as nutty as you are for blaming the death on K-2. The political-mule rectums used your tragedy to oppress us. Thanks a lot comrade!!! i want you and your like minded politicians to get the hell out of america and let freedom ring. Im glad your kid is dead...you killed my harmless fun and I'm an adult. Your kid wasn't raised right. Look n the mirror mom and dad it's your fault. The day is coming the formula will be out and folks can make their own stuff right at home. Our government wants you to buy weed instead. They are probably using the moneys from the lucrative drug trade in Mexico to finance the war, which was also based on a lie.Saddam has Weapons of mass Destruction..what a joke. Oliver North imported cocaine to LA street gangs to covertly fund Iran-contra war after congress told Mr. Reagan they would not support the war effort in south america. Saddam had a palace with no plumbing or utilities and a hole to hide in... a paper tiger.....K2 does not kill, weed did not cause madness... the government needs to ousted. fea

I am so grateful to all efforts for this small step in getting the sale, distribution and consequently the usage of this life damaging drug (K2, Spice) from behind the counters. So many of our young people are suffering from smoking this substance as a means of getting high. Most of the users are those on parole or probation that have periodic drug urinalysis test and are encouraged in continued use because there are no test for this substance in our Iowa system. I know of cases where individuals are showing up high at their urinalysis or planning usage with others on papers shortly afterwards. We have made many calls to authorities to search and arrest all who conspire in the sale of this drug and its paraphernalia. We are delighted to see the raid on stores yesterday in Des Moines and hope it sends an extremely strong message to all involved. Blessings

Listen folks, if you're using alcohol or drugs NOT prescribed by a doctor, you're treating your problems the wrong way. Get some help. Don't try to fix problems with chemicals you don't understand.

I agree. Granted most people probably don't understand the chemicals that are in prescription drugs either.:)

First off k2 is not even comparable to weed. I know this BC I used to be a heavy k2 user. It is addicting. You get used to it but the first few times using it is very hard to explain..its scary. I have seen friends of mine turn Into completely different people and they even seemed to be in a state a lot like being possessed. I've seenany friends have panic attacks and think everyone around them is evil and the devils out to get them. I do believe k2 had a lot to do with his death however I do not know him so I cannot say. I do know I have seen the sweetest people turn completely different..into a confused monster after smoking k2. Thank god I got off of it and it only consumed a year of my life. Could have been much worse. I will never touch it again. There is so much bad about k2 I do not even know where to start. I have done my homework on the drug and have experienced it more than anyone ever should. My heart goes out to the family. Just know people who have tried the drug I'm sure believe it had a lot to do with what happened after the panic attack. The family aren't looking for a finger to point in the other direction...they are using common sense. (From a mother whom experienced and witnessed first hand and got clean.)
