Hitlers right wing fascist agenda did not work out for the jews.
Just as Bachmann's right wing agenda fascist will not work out for any non white christian citizen.
Please learn your history. Fascism is not liberal by any stretch of the imagination. It is a right wing corporate merger.
"Fascism should rightly be called Corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power." Benito Mussolini
using the definition by Mussolini, Obamacare matches well with left wing fascism. It merged govt and our health insurance. Cap n Tax would be merging our energy companies and government. Sorry if that may be inconvenient as they say.

Bachmann will respond to the SOTU. I personally am not familiar with her. If she did not have the wisdom to she this as an opportunity to be exploited, then it was advice and good advice at that. There is only oneway to capitalize on this for Palin is to say it first, and claim bragging rights. Otherwise its Janey come lately. I am actually surprised there wasnt radio fan fare "SARAH PALIN'S RESPONSE TO PRESIDENT OBAMA'S STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS."

I guess it makes sense. Bachmann has a staff. Sarah has Todd.

<quoted text>govt provides no security nor freedom, ask the Jews during the Hitler regime in the 30's. When someone else controls your life like a rancher with his cattle, your freedom is in someone else's hands thus weak. Freedom is controlling your life and your choice to fail or succeed. Your rights are endowed by your creator not by Obama.
Wasn't it a strong U.S. government that was key in liberating the Jews from Hitler. It was a strong U.S government that prevented the southern states from seceding? You are confusing strong with controlling. A strong government is what keeps us citizens from being controlled as cattle by huge corporate power. Do we really want a weak government like Mexico has? We have a say in our government, we can vote on or out of office the people that we do not feel represent us, we cannot do that with a corporation. We do at this point in time have an undue influence of special interests pulling the strings of government. Weakening government is not going to help that. You say you are not about controlling people and are about choice - does that also include the right of people to have a civil union with a person of their choice, the choice to use marijuana to relieve their pain and symptoms of chemotherapy, the right of a person to worship in the religion or non-religion of their choice?Do you believe that a person should give up their right to life because medical care can be withheld from them because it is controlled by a corporation? I like what Bill Clinton said about that, even though I am not a fan of his "There is nothing wrong with America that can't be fixed with what is right about America". I believe in the process of our government - our constitution, our system of checks and balance, our voting process. I believe that these processes need to be honored and accepted with respect. I believe to respect America, we respect the responsibility to do our part as citizens and that we do this with honesty, civility and respect the humanity and rights of all citizens. To advocate otherwise is what is un-American. There is always going to be conflict. What makes a society civilized is how they solve that conflict.

No, anything positive you listed had nothing to do with the bloated Governments. Yes Bo Bo we the people did at one time elect people to represent us and "our" values. Those days are over, and the Government Dependents of the Government Class hold the power.....It doesn't matter who the elected representative is....there are two seperate issues you mingle and confuse. Reducing, with the ultimate goal of eliminating most of the Government Class will allow we the people to have our desires met through the electorial process, and not be hijacked by powerful bloated unions that hold the power today

A Democratic Republic vs an entrenched Government Class that continues to drag down the country. ANY Government Employee from ANY political system is, by the existance of their Government Job, a Socialist eating and feeding their belly at the expense of their neighbor. Not a nice thing to say?...O well. There is a reason it is called the "painful truth".

I just have to say that fascists are NOT "leftists," whatever you say. There are definitions of political and social movements, and those definitions and delineations have meaning. If you took a Poly Sci course, your professor would put red marks and low grades all over your exams. Same is true for dozens of other conservative responders on "topix." They have no idea of the correct use of political terms. Its painful to read. Its a sorry dumbing down of political discourse.
Everything you hear from a Right Wing Wacko would be given an F in any class I was a part of they are sinply Stupid, and will not or cannot learn!!!!!!!!!!
