Crazy i think the key word you said is "Earn a Living", you not earning a living by getting everything for free and putting the burden on Hawaii's Tax Payers. I should be entitled to go over to Micronesia and do whatever the hell i want because i am helping to foot the bill for these people and not one of them leeches is saying no this is wrong i cannot take this free assistance from the state knowing economy is bad and the state budget is upside down, these people could give a rats a$$ about anbody but themselves.

About 7,500 Pacific islanders would be affected by the plan. About 100 are on dialysis and 150 receive chemotherapy, said House Human Services Chairman John Mizuno (D, Kalihi).

The islanders received federally funded Medicaid benefits until Congress eliminated them in 1996. The state continued comprehensive benefits, costing about $100 million a year, with no federal assistance until 2003. It has since received less than $11 million a year.

This has to stop, our state taxes that we pay should not be going to their health care.
Its the democraps fault for not stopping this travesty in 1996. And more worse the media and our state representatives didnt even bother to mention that we Hawaii taxpayers were taking over this burden and responsibility of the federal government. The only time we found out was when the micronesians were screaming bloody murder about their health care in Lingles office.
And all this time Hawaii taxpayers didnt know we were funding their health care.

There should be no question of delay in funding the needs of the Micronesians.
That's fine but why do WE the taxpayers of Hawaii need to shoulder the bulk of their needs. We didn't bomb them, let the Federal Government, who didn't furlough anyone because they have the monies, pay for the Micronesians, not burden us with it. This type of decisions will focus more animosity towards the Micronesians than they already have. I had a few work with me and they did well, brought family and didn't work out too good, so there are good and there are many not worth much. Their bathroom habits leaves a lot to be desired, gotta keep telling them not to go in the bush, eventually that place will be cleared for new planting, they tend to siesta alot and I mean wherever and whenever, they will lie down and sleep. omg...I couldnt believe it, I had to wake the ladies up and let them go.

when the US governement conducted nuclear tests in the micronesian islands, they did not evacuate or warn the people of the nuclear fallout. it has been documented that the US government did this on purpose in order to study the effects of radiation sickness on people, vegetation, ocean, drinking water, etc. one of the most "exciting" tests that these scientists wanted to do was on the fetuses and babies that were born after the bombings.

there are unclassified videos of american scientists conducting tests on men, women, children and the unborn. it's horrifying and a disgrace to the American people. that's why we do not learn about this in school.

the US government gave these people free access into the US probably as compensation for the "valuable" data they gathered from these people.

Oh, and we (the American Government) also have some of the most highly classified bases (Airforce and Navy), testing grounds and military facilities located in micronesia.

Because then you'd be politically incorrect at having to call locals, "bigots" They are the ones complaining at having to move over at the trough. In their defense, it's not racial, it's economics, but you twist it any way you like.

Harry, this week one of your fellow democrats is selling $1000 dollars worth of foodstamps. The worthless bitch has about five kids but her and her boyfriend are druggies. They were at my buddy's house today, and he fed the kids, of course. If I can come up with $500 I'm gonna be eating good this week! Maybe you'd like to come over!

How much do we really pay for these people? Answer: MILLIONS! This Micronesian thing is just bankrupting this State. Everything they want they get, for FREE. It is amazing. Schools, Housing, Medical, Welfare, you name it they get it. Send them all back...This insanity has to stop!!!!!!
This is so true ... what the state needs to do is put a waiting period for them to move into public housing. They can only apply after being a resident of Hawaii for atleast 2 yrs. I hasve seen so many local families litterly forced out of public housing because of the threats and violence this Micronesisan people bring. The locals leave the housing because of the fear they have for their childrens safety. I know a family who moved and now is on the beach with their children and they would rather be on the beach because they feel it is safer. Micronesians threatened them and harassed them and nothing could be done ... WTF??? Make them wait for Welfare benefits and other handouts and then maybe they will go somewhere else ...em so sick of them bullying the locals .... I am blinded by their gold teeth and loud colorful mis-matched clothes... stop sucking off our state idiots!!

Let me remind you that Hawaiians came from Micronesia please read the Queens decree regarding Kamehameha Schools eligibility!
My Grandmother once told us, when the Military came to our great Islands that they told the kids and parents that if we ever wanted to see or play in SNOW? and practically everyone excitedly agreed. being uneducated, simple minded Island people, not knowing world matters at the time, most of all people and babies all waited for the snow outside the house, which turned out to be in the form of radioactive Fallout from the nucleur testing.
The Military scientist and Doctors then came back after to find the dead, burned, blind and sick, under the guise of helping our loved ones, However they were actually recording and comparing the effects of the bombings toll on the people and the enviroment, And yes it still effects alot of the people and land.
We still today when it rains the geiger counters go off, because of the radiation in the rain, ground and cars and buildings that were around during the testings!

We have tried as a nation of Micronesia people to sue in a class action suit many times the U.S. Federal Goverment and numerous U.S. Magistrate Judges refused to grant us monetary releif so we could rebuild instead the Judges throw it back on an old Federal ruling that The U.S. goverement will be forever subsidzing our medical, living costs if we migrate to the U.S and myself and the majority of our people dont want that! as far as I know there are about 7 to 9 states including Hawaii that Federal ruling "Prefers" us to go to. If the Military/Federal would rightly accept the responsibility of a full clean-up and awarding us our rightful judgement of our class action suit we would love to be under our own Nation's flag again.

I do agree with the strong public opinion that you Hawaii People as a State should not be one of the only nine states to foot the bill for this great and devestating atrocies commited against the families of Micronesia and the bill for know should be evenly spread across the Fifty States\\\UNTIL they give us the rightful judgement against the U.S. Military who were the ones soley responsible for the despicable Nazi/Dr Mengele type testing against US. My question is why do you let the Military and Federal get away with their F'up. they are the ones using your budget along with the eight other "Prefered States" to foot (their) the bill! we tried now you try!

Well at least you have some compassion. I as a person feel the same as you. Hawaii and the other "prefered states" should'nt have to take the full burden, the U.S. Military/fed court rulings created this so we "became a burden" to the Hawaiian people.
We want the Military/Fed to own up give us are due in court and take responsibility! Hawaii did'nt bomb/displace us, the U.S. Military did to study the effects of Radioactive fallout on live people, that feel the effects to this day.
I myself dont approve of lazy, lawless people that live off the Gov't. I hope voters can influence their Goveremnt Officals to settle this decades long class action suit against the Military/Feds and put the responsibilty back in the Micronesian Goverment to raise it's own people.
Please dont dehumanize all of us, because of the few Micronesian troublemakers being in the public parks, there are alot of us that you dont see that have colledge degrees, career jobs and pay taxes. I am believer in Christ and believe in God's word that we were all created in his image, so to hate ones brother or sister is to hate the image of God. Aloha & God Bless.

I still think they should have to wait for state housing ... for some reason they move right up the waiting list and pass others who have been waiting longer... WTF??? Some Preference thing they end up getting ....so unfair to the local people. The housing should be for the citizens of hawaii.... Also they need to follow the rules like everyone else .... and if they don't deport them!! They should be grateful for the free money and medical and not keep thinking we owe them more!! Teach them some manners to respect people and stop trying to pick fights with everyone .... we did'nt bomb your island so be nice!!

I agree Military/Feds and courts should acknowledge this. I also agree that "Everyone" should wait in line like everyone else.
If you are allowed complete coverage all your life as the U.S. rulings allowed, you create people that become this way. There are many of us that dont act this way and have our own Medical, Dental, Housing and my kids to my grandchild all go to the Private sector for their education. Cut of this enabling system! and sttle the class action suit, let Micronesia govern, educate and provide to their own people.
