Where are these lazy 20 and 30 year old momma's boys? Instead of roofing houses and mowing lawns these lazy punks are allowing illegal aliens do the work THEY should be doing. This would greatly reduce the unemployment rate. This country under control of the generation x'ers, those grown up who are they 35 to 55 year old crowd have taken over the country and boy is it going down fast! Hell they don't deserve Social Security and in 7 years it won't be there for them. They'll have to work until they die.

Don't know how it is out there in Okie but people around here don't have the money to get new roofs or to pay a lawn service.
I know the unemployment is bad but that also shows that business is bad for small businesses too across the board.
I saw on the news where since Obama became President the people getting food stamps has doubled,
thats a damn shame.

Yes S S P it is. But if the GOP would quit blocking bills that would create jobs, the lastest the Veterans Jobs Bill. Then maybe, just maybe we would have a few. Obstructionism at its finest. Now the stupid do nothing congress is in recess with much needed unfinished business just left to wait until after the election.

No, the bill you mention the democrats have attached so much pork spending because they know the Republicans won't support it.
Its like having a Veterans bill for 1 million and attaching 50 million in pork. Either way the Democrats win, if its passes they get the pork spending they love, if not, they can say what you just said.
Its business as usual for the democrats.

Would you like to elaborate on the attached pork spending you speak of?? details please. There is NO good reason not to have passed it.

And lol @ business as usual. This is the GOP's "do nothing" way of doing business as usual. Hope they enjoy their vacation, really making sure they do nothing.

People aren't stupid,(most anyway) they are seeing more and more everyday just how they work. Just what all they have blocked to keep their number one mission to make Obamas a one term. I'll hand it to them, they've given it their all. Its not working that well is it???

Blocking this bill does nothing but make them look like the assholes that they are. American people are not taking kindly to it, Veterans and Veteran groups are not either. These are our VETERANS! This is a new low even for them. They ought to be ashamed.

I am a veteran and I keep up with the politics.
This bill had great intentions but the bill exceeded the spending cap of the Veterans Affairs Committee a clear violation of the Budget Control Act. Majority Leader Reid refused to allow any Republican-sponsored amendments to be offered to this legislation.

So it was pass it as it is or pass nothing, no compromise or budgetary concern from the Democrats...

business as usual from the democrats.

The democrats only concern is keeping themselves in power. The only way they can do this is to keep creating program after program to show that they "care", the whole problem now is we are out of money.
Drastic cuts are coming because the days of unlimited budgets and deficit spending by our government are over. Obama, with his outrageous spending, increased our total national debt by 1/3 in just 4 short years. He thought by increasing the numbers of people dependent on the government (the number of people on food stamps doubled under his administration) they would demand the government continue its spending until there is nothing left except an eventual collapse and a few in power over the masses.
Obama really never tried to hide what he was doing, he said he would "fundamentally change America" and he has done his best to accomplish this.
What surprises me the most is how many accept this.
This election will no doubt be a defining moment in this country's history.

Veteran here too who also follows politics.....

That was one of the excuses but not a good one, it would be paid for. But then a lot of other poor excuses to follow. The amendments that Harry Reid won't allow you mentioned is just not true. The bill had been extensively rewritten to include amendments by Republicans eight of the 12 provisions in the bill were Republican-originated ideas. The bill had even incorporated most of the provisions of a competing Republican bill, but nope. Business as usual for the do nothing GOP. And again, they look like the assholes they are, so go right ahead.

I will not even waste my time on Obama's evil plan to take over the nation nonsense. lol. Oh boy.

I do not not think tat Romney will be a savior to this country but he will stop the acceleration toward collapse Obama has got us on course for.

Even non-partisan people know we cannot continue this way and Obama is dead set to remain on this course.
Thi is uncharted territory for the USA, what will happen when we go broke?....dependancy, dependancy on the federal government for our sustenance, then we all become slaves.

I want freedom, freedom to succeed or fail, This is not the course Obama has us on.

If the majority of Americans relinquish their freedoms to the federal government to secure a basic livelihood, then communism it will be.
What they fail to realize is that with work and perseverance, they themselves can achieve this.

No matter what your politics are, Obama does not stand for self determination.

Obama has no clue about how to lower unemployment, all his ideas hurt small business and hurt the middle class, the backbone of America.

I think the unemployment over here in Alabama is probably the same, its bad nationwide, and should have been addressed by Obama when he first took office.

What pisses me off is how these same a-holes who prop up that idiot Obama find excuses for his overlooking unemployment for so long.

You are correct Stanley.
The democrats are incapable of stopping any spending, even when they have no money.
They use the programs a political games, toying with peoples lives.
This group of democrats are the worst ever in our Government.

The facts are unemployment has remained high throughout Obama's time as president, it would seem his supporters think that the reason for that is people don't want to work which is not true.
Nothing anyone can say can excuse this, nothing.

I wouldn't bet the house on that one. I haven't seen 1/10 the support on campuses that Obama had before the last election.
In fact, except for the occasional bumper sticker, I don't see much support for Obama anywhere except on TV and Madonna cussing us out saying we better vote for Obama.
America needs an enema to get rid of the biggest turd in the land, Barack Obama.
