Yes, it's my opinion...the same way I don't think we should issue polygamists licenses are 'my opinion', or incest marriages are 'my opinion'...I've never denied 'my opinion', so I don't know what your 'revelation' is all about.

Got that. And there are those that would disagree with me but as an American I have to say that I don't see any reason why those who are attracted to the same-sex couldn't marry. This country is founded on freedom of conscience, if that is where you're conscience leads you, then okay. But we all have to find a way to live with those in a loving and kind way that don't agree with our views.
You didn't answer my question: Do you consider yourself a good person?

Homosexuality is condemned in the Bible. Below are some Bible verses that condemn homosexuality:
Leviticus 18:22 - You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 - If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.
Romans 1:26-27 - For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
I Corinthians 6:9(NIV)- Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
I Timothy 1:8-11 (NASB)- "But we know that the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully, realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted."
Jude 1:6-7 (NASB)- And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death... "
I don't disagree. But not even God forces any of us to do what He knows is best. America and the Constitution is NOT the Bible. It is a country founded on principles of freedom but it is a country that is still founded on human government. Read my posts. As an American we cannot deny them the "right" to marry. This is their freedom of conscience. But as a Christian we MUST love them into the kingdom.

There is a song by Casting Crowns that has the words: Nobody knows what we're for only what we're against.

The only people that Jesus ever chastise with any sort of zealousness was the Pharisees and those who considered themselves righteous above everyone else.

They won't ever listen if we never show them how Jesus loves.

{One other point...the posts I put were showing what the definition of love is.}

Check this out...it's tooo funny...

Some cities responded to Cathy's statements with proper deference to the First Amendment, but others have not. Boston Mayor Thomas Menino initially said, "If they need licenses in the city, it will be very difficult...." After considering the issue, though -- and probably talking with his attorneys -- Menino acknowledged he did not have the power to block the chain from operating in Boston.
