This is surely no longer the state for me. Are times really so bad that people need to carry a gun. I can see crime on the rise and senseless shootings. Not everyone who carries a gun is a "good" person simply looking to "protect" his/her family. Guns, alcohol and stress...not a good mix!

I bet the family of the girl who was killed in the North GA National park by that psycho, wishes that this law was passed earlier and that she had been carrying a handgun. Hopefully this law will make predators think twice about attacking people in "gun free zones" like national parks and on the Marta train late at night.

YES, times are that bad. Crime has been on a rise and senseless shootings have been commonplace for years. I think you are alarmed because you are just now noticing this.
I haven't carried a firearm since my daughter was born back in 98, but now I carry full time in case some jerkoff decides to commit a crime against me, my family or another citizen in my presence.
I will let the jury decide if my actions are appropriate.

California offers nice weather and laws that you might like better.

If you had done some research you would find that places with concealed carry laws have dramatically lower violent crime rates. In the words of Sigmund Freud, "A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity."

You would also find, if you did some research, that homes with firearms have dramatically higher rates of accidental shootings that result in injury or death. You can't have it both ways, and frankly, the last thing these rednecks down here need is another excuse to carry a weapon.

When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.
Of course we know how JB feels about the military. He should move to Canada with it's pussified govt and gun control. They welcome commie anarchists, wimps and draft dodgers like him with open arms.

You have gone on record condemning both the military and the administration. You are a waste of space, skin, air and bandwidth. Those good old boys have ways of dealing with suckers like you.

So nice that the anointed are there to remind us all what they believe our rights and liberties consist of rather than focussing on the true causes of violence & mayhem.

Do you make a habit of comparing apples and oranges, or did you make a special exception today?

Oh, so the consistency of your argument is questioned and rather than confront that you throw up an apples to oranges defense. Is this typical or a special exception for today??

If the SCSO was aware of your psychiatric history, they could legally confiscate your weapons. Maybe someone should drop a dime.

He has served our country, you foul-mouthed trouble-maker! Have you? If you are going to try and insult him, at least bother to read his posts first. REPORTED!
