There was another post that was removed.

Well, my mother cannot say those things to me because she is dead. My mother was an atheist and remained so to her death. She took great pride in knowing that that was end of her life and was not going to have to be forced to eternally praise and love a god. She believed in science and she believed in reality. She was a teacher, a student and a wonderful human being. But now she's dead and all that she was is gone I miss her, but I have no delusions of seeing her, my father or any of my ancestors ever again, unless I dig up graves.

We are all dying, a lot are in physical pain and others in mental pain. I would tell them all that their belief in a god is delusional. I would tell them all that they have not lived their life because of the self imposed limitations placed on themselves due to their belief. I would tell them that lives are actually emptier for believing in an imaginary friend who takes up so much time and space in their life that could be filled with memories if loved ones.

I will tell the ones facing death that they are wrong and that they are just going to die. It's the most honest thing to do.

if I thought talking to you about this subject would help you understand and change your mind, I would discuss this with you. It is very apparent that you are an angry person so I will leave this and move on. You have the right to your opinions and I have the right to mind. My hope is that God will bless you! Have good life.

No, you're talking to me about the subject will not change my mind to believe the absurd.

See, once you see behind the curtain of religion and se the lies you can't "unsee" that. Once you know the evidence against god you can't "unknow" that.

It's like trying to believe in Santa, the tooth fairy and the Easter bunny again, you just can't do it.

What you really want to do is brain wash me into believing your very flawed beliefs and practices. That's why you monsters must start the indoctrination of children so young. It has to be taught before they gain the knowledge of the world and reason and must be taught by people they trust. You must continue to go to church every weekend and some week days, pray at dinner and constantly beg for forgiveness from god so that you keep repeating the lies so that they are ingrained into the mind of these children.

That is child abuse! Plain and simple!

Telling children to behave or they will burn in hell, away from their family for eternity is child abuse!

Dear Lord, I pray for the one known on this post as the Revealer. Lord I pray that you would send a blessing his way. I pray that he would have the chance to repent of his sins before it is too late.

Thank you Lord for all that you do, all the good times in our lives and for the trials that draw us closer to you.

Please bless the Revealer.
Amen!

Are Guest and The Revealer one in the same ? Because the very first comment on this thread About God was a negative comment and up to that comment nothing was mention about God. Just go back and check I suspect that this was a planned attack to get someone to say something and it looks like it worked for the most part. But don't believe he got the victory!!

There are no curtains to look behind with God and my relationship with God has nothing to do with religion. The relationship I have with God is salvation. Where and when I choose to attend church is the religion. But even if I choose not to attend a church I still have salvation and a relationship with my Savior. You may not believe in God in this life, but I am very confident you will in the next life.I pray that God will have mercy on you and give you an opportunity to see the truth. May God bless you .

Cool, because you have proof to support your claims that god exists, that there's an afterlife and god offers salvation. Why haven't you been published? Why hasn't the scientific world just been shattered with all of your awesome findings? Oh, I know why! Because you can't prove his existence or anything beyond the natural world.

God is supernatural just like the Sasquatch, chupacabra, Santa, Zeus, Apollo , Poseidon, the cracken, the jack-o-lope, the easterbunny, leprechauns, pixies, ghosts, abominable snowmen, vampires, werewolves, sucubus, incubus, gremlins, boogie men, unicorns, Pegasus, centaurs, witches, warlocks and so on.

Dear fantasy wish granter in the sky,

I'll make a wish and hope that you can grant it, that you can make TheRevealer stop posting all of this logical stuff that makes so much sense and makes me think about my idiotic belief in you and your son and spirit which I know are all one, but three, but you're your own father and your own son, that was born of a raped virgin, much like Hercules was.

I wish and hope that you can magically make him see that "blessings" are are real. Dictator in the sky, you can show him that you're real by ridding the world of cancer and diabetics and regrowing the limbs of amputees, you know something that everyone can see.

Thank you fictitious being made up by man to answer the unanswered for all that you've done. Like having boys raped at the altar, women beaten for not obeying their husband, children brainwashed to not reason and believe only in you, making it okay to kill others in your name, allowing us to discriminate against anyone who does not believe what we do or does not live like we do in our home, thank you for slavery, thanks for your everlasting hate, thanks for telling me its okay to sell my daughter to slavery and making it okay to have my daughter raped to calm the crowds.

A (being created by) men!

if you and guest are two different people then that's fine, but you stated that a poster started with tha God crap again and you were just replying.( that may not be your exact words, but was the jest of them).and in all truth on one said anything until there was a negative remark made. Now I'm not a big fan of the Christain thing but the one who called themselves could be was answering another post and you just butted in and went on a crazy rant. If you want people to listen to you a little more fineiss would be helpful to you. Just saying.

Well, I'm the person who posted as Guest and I don't know TheRevealer but I do understand where he is coming from. I'm not sure why he is spending time trying to educate the bible thumpers because that seems to me to be a huge waste of time.

I grew up a Presbyterian, but at some point became extremely bored with church, and especially hearing the same stories over and over and over again. It seems to me that religious people have a distinct lack of imagination. They are looking for someone to take care of them instead of taking responsibility of their own lives and decisions.

As a youth, I discovered that if you violate physical laws, you might get hurt and no God is going to step in and save you from harm. People die in senseless car accidents and tractor turnovers and murders every day across the world. There is no magic hand that steps in and stops the madness. Nor should He. Or She.

Religion is a form of mental illness which is as detrimental to the human mind as smoking, drinking and drugs.

Live your lives as good people, enjoy your time on earth as much as you are able, and be glad that you have the talents and energetic spirit that you have within you. But don't ruin other people's lives and molest kids' minds with trash. Life is stressful enough without adding mind control from ruthless manipulators to the mix.

Churches are a business. HELLO! They are administered by people, sometimes well meaning people who always look at the bottom line. How much money were we able to convince people to give to perpetuate this travesty? If we can get them to give enough, we can make larger salaries as ministers, choir directors, organists, etc.

If you think you are going to heaven because you are a good person who gave time and money to your church, congratulations. You fell for it. All you have to do is look at how churches, denominations and entire religions are structured and you will discover that they are just tax exempt businesses with mission statements that allow them to relieve you of your hard earned money to support their agendas. You cannot avoid the facts. It's O.K. if you want to pour your money into an organization that makes you feel better, but be aware of what you are really doing. Jim and Tammy will always want your money in the name of Jesus.

I don't know if there is a God or not, but if there is, He ain't broke, O.K.? He doesn't need your help or your praises or thank yous. If He or She exists, which is evidently negotiable, your only real burden in life is to make the most of your time on earth and stop wasting your time worshipping. You need to be making this world a better place. Who cares if there is an afterlife or everlasting life. Do you want to have to go to the bathroom and swat flies throughout eternity? Jesus! Get a damn grip on reality.

I know I don't prefer to burn in hell forever. What if religion is real, and you are wrong? If you believe, then you have nothing to lose by believing, but everything to lose if you are wrong. So why take a chance by being a non-believer, you have everything to gain by being a Christian. I am not dogmatic and evangelistic about your beliefs, believe what you want. You might relish in the thought that you do live in America and don't have to belong to the muslim religion which cuts the heads off/stones to death non-believers, queers, women who have affairs, etc.

This is called Pascal's wager. What if you have spent your entire life worshipping the wrong god? What if the "real" god hates worship and prayer, hates churches and rituals? Oops! Then you're screwed because you believed in the wrong stuff, and you must now suffer the real gods consequences.

The only true stance is agnosticism. Doubt until proof is given.
