Leave it to the desperate republikan hangers-on to look BACK 30 years for answers to today's problems!
"Look a'BACK, dear Lordy...look'a back.
We don't got no answers Lordy....look'a back."
You cretins are unbelievable. If it ain't Clinton, it's Carter. If it ain't Carter it's Kennedy. BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Does it occur to you that you are total LOSERS?
I think it is Obama who is looking back to the Clinton years. I think 90% of his cabinet is a Clinton rollove. But then again love is blind and I am sure you can't see the hypocracy of your statement. change we need. A new direction.....Change backward and the direction is reverse.

<quoted text>Hey Alphonzo, there was a guy in Chicago with the same name. If memory serves he died of Syphilis. His name Alphonse Capone. Nice monicker though. Some of your posts use the same reasoning he did. Real nice....He also ran roughshod over anyone who didn't agree with him.
The name comes from a Frank Zappa tune, who also, by the way, had zero tolerance for ingnorant people.

Yeah, when those times were so bad, who wants to revist them...

Cnsidering most of the country does not rest where you sit on the political spectrum, here's what the Wall Street Journal had to say about the direction Obama appears to be headed. Pay close attention, you might learn something:

Ahhhh...that's sweet. Like Saccharin.
I'm surprised a gullible, died-in-the-wool, kneeled-at-the-cross simpleton like you hasn't been escorted out of NYC yet...awarded for your cluelessness with one way bus fare back to the ol' plantation.
You've been well programmed my dear. Perhaps a partial lobotomy is in order?
Spoken like a true libtard. Oh I havent been programed at all. Its just that I grew up being taught to LOVE my Country and the Liberties and Freedom it provides. I come from a long line of Veterans that have fought for this Country and your right to be an ass. In fact my son is currently serving in the United States Army. Something you and your cowardly kind would never have the guts or patriotism to do. Instead you would rather sit and whine about everything from the comfort of your keyboard.

Oh, and make no mistake, NY would not have to bother escorting me out as I have never lived there, although I have lived abroad and it made me love and appreciate this great Country even more. It just so happens my server I was on routed through NY.

Now THAT makes more sense: a flag-and-cross cheerleader from SNELLVILLE! Looks like Manhattan was spared another attack!

Darling, your military kin folk didn't fight for my right to free speech. That was guaranteed in the constitution long before y'all went off to fight in America's modern day immoral, irresponsible, useless foreign wars.

Ten-HUP! Just do as you're told and you're an instant hero. In your own mind....

Hopefully y'all found gainful employment in the service. But then what options were there? WalMart?

I LOVE my country, but you people are just tedious.

That's an awfully convoluted way of spelling L-O-S-E-R.
The thought that a militia of gun toting neo-revolutionaries is forming in the dark, smelly, dank folds of American society is hysterical. What's the uniform...T-shirts with Limbaugh on the front and Hannity on the back?!
I'm sure we'll see you interviewed in Roger Moore's next documentary! LOL!!
Sounds like Black Panthers except for the T-shirts.

First of all you are wrong again. I am from Kennesaw. Maybe you can drum up an insult for that as well. Im sure you can.

Secondly, to degrade and disrespect what our Soldiers do for you, this Country, and yes, YOUR FREEDOM is just plain nasty. The Constitution afforded you freedom of speech tis true, but its our Military that make sure every single day you still have that right. If you don't think so, then lets just disband the military completely and see how fast we no longer have our freedoms.

Those family members of mine as well as many and most that serve in the United States Military don't do so just for job opportunities. They do so because they are patriots.

I'm not sure if your meaning of "you people" are referring to the Military of those of us who stand loud and proud by our Conservative values, but either way, I will take that as a compliment.

ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz.....

Take the stud out of your nose and grow up. Better yet, get off MySpace and go to Iraq or Afganistan where you can put your empty words into action.

Wouldn't do that, would you? No, girls are supposed to stay home quilting and standing by their men....

Ughhhh.

Can someone provide a referenced quote where Chamblis questioned Cleland's patriotism?
Chambliss ran for the Senate in 2002, defeating the Democratic incumbent, Max Cleland, when Chambliss ran a television ad that included Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein pictures NEXT TO MAX CLELAND and questioned Cleland's patriotism!Remember, Chamblis received 5 draft deferrments.

Former Senator Max Cleland served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Captain. He was awarded the Silver Star and the Bronze Star for valorous action in combat!

At age 25, Cleland picked up a grenade be believed fell off his flak jacket - shredding both his legs and one arm.

Another soldier cried and admitted he erred in securing his grenade. Cleland was the administrator of the United States Veterans Administration under President Jimmy Carter, a fellow Georgian, from 1977 to 1981. He then served 14 years as Secretary of State of Georgia from 1982 to 1996, working closely with his future Senate colleague, Zell Miller.

CHAMBLISS QUESTIONED CLELAND's PATRIOTISM as a disabled veteran from the Vietnam War as Chambliss avoided Vietnam?

AS WAS POSTED PRIOR TO YOUR POST

Saxby Chambliss's unthinkably odious ad in which he slurred Max Cleland by pairing the triple-amputee war hero with images of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

Cleland's own statement was that he dropped a grenade and bent over to pick it up when it went off.

Cleland was revealed as a sex pervert when his former girlfriend released obscene phone sex tapes of Cleland calling and harassing her.

The veterans of Georgia turned against Cleland because he was not representing them but was pursueing an agenda contrary to veterans and the rest of the voters.

Cleland has a dark side that you refuse to acknowledge. He has long since revealed himself as a fraud and a self centered deviate.

But in his 1988 autobiography, Dole described the circumstances around one of his own purple heart medals this way:

As we approached the enemy, there was a brief exchange of gunfire. I took a grenade in hand, pulled the pin, and tossed it in the direction of the farmhouse. It wasn’t a very good pitch (remember, I was used to catching passes, not throwing them). In the darkness, the grenade must have struck a tree and bounced off. It exploded nearby, sending a sliver of metal into my leg -- the sort of injury the Army patched up with Mercurochrome and a Purple Heart.
