KKK group seeks Adopt-A-Highway OK

If the NAACP or a similar group wanted to do the same thing there would be nothing said. Therefore let the KKK put their energy to use keeping trash picked up off the road. You don't have to agree with their cause but there is nothing wrong with them wanting to help keep the roads clean.

I promise you this: if the KKK is allowed to "adopt" a highway anywhere in Union County, then I will, and will encourage everyone else to, throw trash out the window there EVERY time I pass, making it the most disgusting, filthy stretch of highway in America.

If the KKK want's to pick up litter on a stretch of road, I don't think there is any way legally to stop them. However, I don't like the idea of a sign advertising such, so, I will steal the sign as soon as it is installed and every one thereafter.

Now, Mr. KKK person, the history of your organization which includes murder, beatings and other forms of intimidation, negate your attempts to show the KKK with noble intentions. Keep trying if you want but, the majority of Southerners loook away with embarassment and disdain.

You'll probably have to wait in line. Look at the number of times Route 69 signs in Towns County have been stolen; a real collectors item.

LOL! The KKK could practice picking up trash by stepping outside their broken down old trailers. It might take them three or four weeks to get the hang of it but if they really try, they'll be able to do it. They aren't that stupid. Oh wait! They are too. Oh well.

The least the government could do is tell them they can't take the trash home, rather it has to go in the garbage dump. If they're shown pictures, maybe they'll recognize which is which.

You might be on to something here. Maybe a video for Youtube showing trash picking up trash, keeping the "good" trash and thrwoing away the bad trash. It's all a trashy exercise.

Most members of the KKK are already trained in trash pickup having worked for the county in thier little brown suits.

Well....Oh My, unlike the rest of you, it isnt my place to judge, and that isnt my call to make. As stated earlier, I am very proud of my heritage,my race,and my religion. I shouldnt have to be ashamed of it, nor be called "racist" should I stand up for rights that we are being denied. Blacks cried for years about how "unfair" life was. Well, now the cards are all stacked in their favor. Shouldn't it be equal, across the board??
