Georgia's immigration law targets universities
When the state of Arizona enacted a draconian anti-immigrant law - which gave the police wide powers to detain individuals they believed to be undocumented immigrants - nearly two years ago , the national media took notice.

"If Georgians don’t want to continue to see their state’s undocumented population turned into political punching bags, with even students simply seeking a decent education being stripped of their rights and liberties, it may be time for them to take Lewis’ advice, and, as he put it,“make some trouble. Good trouble.”
"...students simply seeking a decent education being stripped of their rights and liberities" They can get that where they came from.
And, please, Mr. Lewis, the black civil rights movement is over! You are a tired has been. Obviously the illegal alien agenda is a losing one, they don't have a leg to stand on, that's the reason they came to you!

I don't know about you magadala, but I've had enough of the civil rights movement. If they had their way, they'd take it all the way back to the beginning of time, making demand after demand. Enough is enough!

Agreed! The sad part about it that illegal aliens, hispanics, don't have a leg to stand on with regard to their "cause." Therefore, they cloak themselves in other movements that have been successful in the past, but are over. It is really a joke to hear Dreamers compare their situation to the holocaust.
Truth be told, for all intents and purposes, we have all of the civil rights laws that we need. I am a member of a recognizeable minority group and was part of the civil rights movement! Not a bigot, just a realist!!!

I have a black customer with a college degree, who owns 2 businesses, his wife is a Federal employee as well as 3 of his kids in DC (full scholarships of course), the other one is at a prestigious university (another full scholarship and he has the gall to tell me how hard his life has been. If I hear him tell me Jim Crow days aren't that far back in our history, I honestly will throw up. I too grew up in a poor family, however, he's not interested in that at all. All of his grandchildren (9) are on full scholarships as well. Sorry I guess I got off on a rant.

It is getting old having the liberties, rights, and values of the majority, being restricted, or even taken away, to benefit the minority.

I see your problem, it's not with illegal aliens, it's with any race different than yours.

So what if Illegals get an education. Conservatives don't want to send their kids to college to be indoctrinated into liberalism. Republicans hate college, because Obama went to one.
The republican motto is "if you were not born rich you don't deserve to be rich".
Double talking idiots. Republicans suck.
Santorum does not stand a chance to get elected by Americans.
Most of us have a brain, and alot of us have been educated.
