Georgia Investigates Windstream for Slow DSL Speeds
The state of Georgia is investigating Windstream for making false claims about its DSL speeds in the Peach State, according to DSLReports.com. The site said on Tuesday that the Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Protection is looking into whether Windstream's 6MBps, 12MBps and 24MBps services actually reach those advertised speeds.

I have 3MBps service and it rarely hits that number
for the last several months

I have 1.5 MBps which I know is not the fastest, but it has never been as slow as it has been for the past few months. I used to be able to watch videos on YouTube and other sites. I called Windstream, and I was told that they are upgrading the wiring technology. Really? In nearly six year of having service with Windstream, this is the worst experience that I have had.
