We've heard a lot of nattering lately about Virginia receiving an F on a "corruption risk report card" put out by a bunch of busybody do-gooders. I would like this fact duly noted in our permanent record.

OMG!! Virginia might or could become corrupt?! How dare anyone suggest or even hint at such a thing. Virginia is for lovers-Virginia always does the right thing for it's citizens(except womem & gays)-never has closed doors meetings (cough)-respects the rights of ALL (except for those who disagree with them) um-on second thought Virginia probably is corrupt, biased and oppressive. A great place to live if you don't mind your personal rights being taken away.

"...busybody do-gooders."
We can't have busy-body do-gooders interferring with the perpetual corruption throughout Virginia. 400 years of corruption could not possibly be replaced by honesty, integrity, and democracy. It would be too great of a culture shock, a sudden turn in history, and too great of a breath of fresh air.
What would people do with their sudden freedom to prosper, improve their lives, increase their productivity? It might cause a mass fainting spell.

We elect the officials who do everything they can to pad their own pockets with not one consideration towards the public good. So whos at fault here? We don't ask for any accountability so the thievery goes on. My guess is the RICO ACT could be used successfully in every township in this state.
