Full story: South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Someone needs to look into the "HOPE CENTER FOR PAIN MANAGEMENT AND RECOVERY" in Boynton Beach , Florida. The doctor is Isrel Rabinskie or Rabinsky.

My brother went to this doctor and was getting 300 pain pills, and
a liquid medication called oxiefast. I do not know if this doctor cleaned up his act, but he was all about the MONEY.

This above is just my opipion and from what my brother told me, and i did see a medication bottle that matched what was told.
I am not saying this doctor still practices this way, but I know he did a couple years ago.

I hope this case gets tossed like the last one . It's more important that peolple who are hurting and in pain , get thier medicine , than the risk of OD by others ! Make all drugs legal as of Monay morning and let's spend what money we have left , on something else for a CHANGE !

I feel bad that there are people out there that make it impossible for someone living in pain to recieve adequate pain control. You have a very few Dr.s that will prescripe any type of pain medication, beleieve me I know, I have been living with chronic pain for 14 yrs. with no end in sight, unfortunately due to the few who abuse pain medication people that need it can't get it SAD SAD WORLD

Cracking down on pain specialist will drive legitimate ones out of business and leave patients in severe pain without effective treatment. It would be better to simply legalize drugs and put the drug dealers, smugglers and illegitimate prescribers out of business. It costs billion$ to fight the so-called War On Drugs. The war started in 1907 with the Harrison Narcotics Act, and what we have now is a contemporary version of Prohibition. If people want to be drug addicts, shame on them. But let them and end this foolishness.

If the legal pain clinics are operating properly and within the law of medicine and state then they have NOTHING to worry about.

Out of the hundreds of pain clinics that have popped up in Broward, only a handful may be operating correctly, and really care about the person they are treating, and not about the ole mighty dollar.
I have heard of the doctor that the first poster talked about and if you go on the MQA website you will see that this Dr.Rabinsky is already on probation for medical office mistakes. It is scary that this Dr is still practicing. It's a joke that another doctor comes in and looks over the records and makes sure he is on the up and up, but who says the Doctor supervising him is on the up & up.

Bad pain doctors are ruining it for the people who need pain management and they are hundreds of thousands of people that live with real pain every day that need this type doctor..But...these offices do not accept anything but cash, and NO INSURANCE.That says alot of the profession that they do not except insurance.

I agree; I'd take it one step further and say that we could clean up the gene pool by letting the idiots all kill themselves. I see absolutely no reason if I were to become injured why I should have to suffer because doctors are afraid to help me because the medical board is going after the doctors that wrote scrips to the idiots. What next, do away with palliative care?

All types of medications are being over-prescribed. Most doctors/patients don't seem to want to deal with the root cause of pain and disease. Just take a pill and mask the problem. Ever hear of the placebo effect?

I say the Attorney General should
shut them all down. Then, any one
with pain can go to a local E.R.
once a month and get their prescriptions. Therefore, the Drs.
will be tracked, the patients will be
tracked and the prescriptions will be
tracked. One stop shopping.
Not so difficult, is it??

These folks know exactly what they are doing. Prescribing for profit. They use that old political trick. Put on a nice suit and tie, a neutral face and then lie. The guy who sold us WMDs and his supporters in Congress used the same old bare-faced lying technique. These doctors need to be taken off the street as fast as they are found. Addicts need therapy. The next move should be against docs who provide knowingly harmful procedures and equipment to trusting patients.

Get real. It is NOT more important that people who are in pain get their meds than others overdosing because a doctor wants to play fast and loose. What on earth ever made you reach such a ridiculous conclusion?
