I'll bet that if this religious crazy looked around Boca Raton, he'd already find some crime and prostitution without there being a casino close by.
A casino would undoubtedly attract more tourists to the area, so his argument doesn't hold water.
Maybe he should stick to what he knows best and keep his nose out of local affairs.
