OK, UM experts. How about this one - a 12 gauge placed directly against the temple, and another 12 gauge placed directly against the chest, just in front of the heart. Now, what happens is, both triggers are pulled at the same time, sending the shell contents into the brain and the heart simultaneously. Do you think that would kill instantly? If not, please explain.

Who cares how much pain these scumbags endure before they die. How much pain do they inflict on their victims before they die. I say bring back the guillotine.

correct me if I am wrong, but aren't people who are given a lethal injection being done so as a punishment for a hideous murder. Did the victim they killed feel any pain or fear?

Tax revolt? What tax revolt? Spend away, such as on studies as this one. Read the quote:
"We absolutely pay more attention to how we kill animals than humans," said co-author Teresa Zimmers, an assistant research professor of surgery. Yo, Ms. Zimmerman, please read my post above. I would very much like to know your opinon on my proposed method of execution, in particular, if it is better than the way we execute animals. If you can't respond, I guess it's because you are out partying and spending the tax payers money on stupid research such as that reported here. Go find a real job, please. |

Commute the sentence of all convicted felons after they complete 5 years of military service in Iraq.

Who commissioned the University of Miami to conduct the study? The results of the study will reflect the opinion of the person paying for it.

Mighty Christian of all you posters. I guess we live by "the spirit" of the Good Book in this Christian nation of ours.

We all know the greater punishment would be life in prison. Life, doing work and labor to pay for the imprisonment. No chance of parole. A killer is a killer. It makes no difference if it is a thug on the street or the state murdering a person. Ultimatly we will all be judged by how we treat the worst in our society.

Who cares if these criminals feel pain. THey obviously caused and inflicked pain on someone else and probably they're family. They should be put out for the reason they were put in jail. leathal injection is a nice way to go for them

Make these scumbags stand on the Mini Mart Crime Drug Corner in Riviera Beach. That will Fix Em at Night. Most dangerous streets. Compton, FLA.

Who cares if they suffer pain? How many of their victims were murdered "humanely"?
They should have public hangings. When Abraham Lincoln was assassinated April 14, 1865, four of the people involved were hanged July 7, 1865. After James Garfield was shot July 2, 1881, his murderer was hanged June 30, 1882. Now days, it takes 10 or more years before just a handful of murderers see their final day. Then one that day, they get a final meal, visits with their relatives and loved ones. All things their victims were not allowed. And you want me to have sympathy for these poor misguided souls? |
wHY DO WE CARE IF THESE'S ANIMALS FEEL ANYTHING?
Life in prison my @$$ I dont want to pay for their meals or their room and board... 50cent bullet sounds a lot more reasonable, either that or public hangin.. might deter some other would be criminals... |
If we execute all criminals the same way there is nothing unusual about it. I don't see why there is a consitutional right not to have any pain when being executed.
When the constitution was written it explicitly allowed the death penalty when it meant hanging. I guess we could go back to public hangings if it makes people happier. |
Who says they don't reliably execute inmates?
The executed MURDERERS are dead, aren't they. Sounds pretty reliable to me. Also, where is it in the Constitution does it say the execution has to be painless? Make them suffer like they made their victims suffer. |
