Simply a question of money.

Scott pointed out Florida dollars would go elsewhere if the state did not take the money. No reason for Florida to help finance programs in other states.

that s true, you have to get at least a portion of the peoples conficated money back while at the same time working for in the future that it not be confiscated, of course what they need to do is promote small business that would decrease the amount of funding getting in governements hands to begin with, better to burn those dollars on the back grill than to have the be in the hands of a government person to commit crimes against us

So money trumps any supposed moral convictions?

Got it.

I'll remember that the next time a GOPasaur claims to be standing on "principles". All we need to do is give him/her enough cash and those "principles" will quickly change.

Democrats were against George Bush over throwing governments and then the Democrats starting over throwing even more of them.
.
I can go on.
.
Scott would have to explain why he let billions of Florida dollars finance healthcare in California.

Scott may need some of that money to help finance unemployment as many employers may have to let go of employees due to the expense of Obamacare.

So just saying "the democrates did it too" lets him off the hook?

He could simply say he's standing on principle and won't be bought off.

Oh wait, he's a politician so he can't say that unless it's just before an election.....

When it's Scott's own money, he can stand on principal. It's not just Scott's money, he fought Obamacare and lost in the Supreme Court. Now he can only do damage control and prevent Florida money from going elsewhere.

He's flip flopping trolling for votes. Didn't work for Mittens and it's not going to work for Governor Voldemort.

What a contrast it will be when Crist challenges him for Gov in 2014.

If your Governor let billions slip away from your state, I am sure you'll send him a thank you card.

If he campaigned on being opposed to the program which generated those billions, then yes I would expect him to turn down the money.

It's just like all the hypocrits who campaigned against earmarks and then turn around and request those same earmarks once the election is over.

Refusing to give send money to DC is easy.
Refusing to accept money from DC is the true test of your principles.

I am sure you'd admire your Governor as he/she stands on principals while billions are taken from your state and sent off to Arkansas or Vermont.
.
Scott did the practical thing.
