Why is spring cold? Because of unusual weather patterns. Why are the weather patterns unusual? Because of melting Arctic sea ice. Why is the Arctic sea ice melting? Because of global warming. Why doesn't Heartland mention this? Because they are funded by the oil industry?

Why is spring cold? Maybe because solar energy is so much lower than it was during the 30 years of warming.

Why is spring cold?
Perhaps it is because CO2 is not up to the task of Warming the Globe.
Perhaps it is because other parts of the planet are, on average, far warmer.
Perhaps it is because this cold weather iis simply a 'Big Oil' conspiracy to discredit Real Climate Science.
.
The FACT is that the official temperatures for all of March have not been reported by the Experts at the offices in Seatle, Minneapolis, New Jersey, Norwich, Moscow, and Japan.

The FACT is that once the complete temperature readings for March have been analyzed, homogenized,, smoothed and adjusted for incidental noise signatures, March 2013 may be reported as the warmest on record.

Very bad title .. because:

On March 18, 2013 Climate Central reports on the unusual extreme temperatures and weather patterns observed between March of 2012 and March of this year. "To put that weather in context, consider that by March 19, 2012, more than 2,200 warm-temperature records had been set or tied across the U.S. That is about 1,000 more than had been set or tied so far this March." Extreme weather events are on the rise with no letting up in sight.

The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration recently released data showing that February 2013 marked the 336th consecutive month that global temperatures rose above the 20th century average. Further investigation leads climatologists to believe that a permanent and irreversible change has taken place to the jet stream due to Arctic ice loss: A report from 2012 cites evidence of the relation between the Arctic ice loss and extreme weather events.

A pronounced shift in Arctic air pressure systems has triggered unusually cold temperatures across North America, Europe, and northern Asia, while allowing a flood of warmer air into Greenland and northeastern Canada, according to NASA.

Never have you shown that temperatures have returned to the lows of the early 20th century. In truth, the warm temperatures of the Arctic(specially the high Arctic), indicates Arctic cold being flushed to the south. Often such is the case....... while Arctic sea ice stops freezing or even melts....... in the winter.

The same effect occurs year round.

Yes! But the Hot Spots were ALARMING... I mean they were off the chart!
We are talking about the Likelyhood of spontaneous combustion over the Artic, with all that methane.

We MUST deploy the "Seaview" to the North Pole IMMEDIATELY!
Where is Admiral Harriman Nelson when we need him... After all he is the scientist that saved us in 1961; he must do it again.

Presently, the warm northern islands of the Canadian March, 2013 has been replaced with Arctic cold, while the present south Greenland, Northern UK & European & Northern Russian warmth has replaced the same land masses' cold of March.

My state was buried under a sheet of ice one mile thick, 10,000 years ago. What caused it to melt?? Must've been those pesky cavemen driving their SUVs, eh?

Heat radiating from the groin regions of oil execcutives is causing the ice caps to melt. Why doesn't Heartland mention this?

NO! The only thing that warms oil execs is oil can profits. Besides, oil can execs could never generate enough heat from their groins.
