Today, the Florida Senate passed Senate Bill 718 dealing with Family Law. Senator Kelli Stargel , the bill sponsor, praised the Senate's action to give the courts more guidance in determining the appropriate kind and amount of alimony.

It's a marvelous day in Florida! Our woefully outdated permanent alimony laws will soon be a thing of the past for tens of thousands of Floridians.

Kudos to Senator Kelli Stargel for her outstanding leadership on this important issue for Florida's families!
