Legislation aims to raise minimum wage
The Delaware hourly minimum wage could rise by $1 over two years if the General Assembly passes proposed legislation.

Raising minimum wage is not a solution to poverty. There will always be poverty. Raising minimum wage will raise the unemployment rate especially for the low or unskilled workers. Rasing minimum wage will drive prices up so the people making minimum wage is back in the same position again. Think about it. If people make more then prices go up. Common sense!
