Now that the votes have been counted and Romney coming in with a respectable percentage, SC is the next dueling place. I just heard that Newt was going to stay in the race, well of course he is, I saw little need for a much anticipated news conference to announce that. He has lost my support with his temper tantrum like attacks on Romney. It's in bad taste to do that, especially since he should know exactly what a company like Bain does. If not, he shouldn't be running for president. The only upside is that this will be throughly aired NOW and will take some of the wind out the expected attack by Obama when he finally has a name to run against. Hopefully Romney. The Big surprise or maybe not so big was the Ron Paul vote. I don't understand why so many young kids are so enamored with him.

I'm not surprised Newt is staying in-- after all, he just got a $5 million infusion from the Las Vegas billionaire and I gotta believe he had to promise to keep making noise no matter what to get that $$. I kinda thought he was done eons ago when his staff resigned en masse, so every day he stayed in was a bit of a mystery to me.

My two cents is that I'm looking for a responsible (yes, with an emphasis on fiscal responsibility) adult who keeps his/her yap shut about any issues related to religion or personal life choices. The strange forays of some into matters that I see of no governmental concern troubles me, though it seems many want the government to get involved in forcing their personal views on others. That makes some candidates unacceptable to me so the possible list of candidates to support becomes very limited. Oh well, it's been a choice of the lesser or two evils for a very long time as I see it.
