“The Emporer of all Maladies”
“Siddhartha Mukherjee's fascination with cancer is rooted not just in how to fight it, but in where it originated. Discovering almost nothing on the subject, the cancer physician and researcher wrote "Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer," that explores the history of the disease that causes one quarter of all American deaths.”
The above anonymous statement is placed at the above statement by Mukherjee given on Oct. 21, 2010, uploaded on Dec. 1, 2010 at www.poptech.com here:
During this talk, Mukherjee claims he wants and needs to know “what it is he is fighting with regard to cancer?” Evidently he “discovered nothing on the subject” because he did not look and therefore did not see what others have already discovered on cancer.
Here is what is stated about www.poptech.com at its website:
“PopTech is a global network of remarkable people, innovative projects, powerful ideas, and extraordinary conferences that are accelerating positive impact and changing the world.”
If a so called “scientist” is seeking true understanding about the disease of cancer and claims to desire to know “what it is he his fighting”, the first place to begin would be to discover what others have already learned wouldn’t it? But this so called “scientist” actually ignores and disregards a large body of scientific knowledge and facts about cancer in his “quest” to promote the failed dogma of genetics research, but disregarding all the seminal facts and experiments discovered in the laboratory of the genius in Germany Otto Warburg, M.D., Ph.D.(1883-1970), described as the greatest biochemist of the twentieth century, developed over a period of roughly a half century from about 1914-1965, and confirmed in so many other laboratories around the world. Mukherjee skips all this knowledge but has the gall to claim he is a “scientist and cancer researcher and oncologist”! The average lay reader of this mostly worthless propaganda garbage is easily fooled as evidently as the author himself by his blatant and negligent disregard of facts and experiments already demonstrated in Warburg’s laboratory in Germany, one of the top, if not the top, cancer laboratories on the planet then or now.
He also appears to have failed to read and understand many scholarly works of others earlier, like “The Cancer Industry” by Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D., which documented, in about 500 pages and as many references, the dismal failure and corruption of the American Cancer Society and the chief propagandist Mary Lasker, whom he obviously idolizes.
He also evidently failed to read and understand the paper “American Cancer Society America’s Wealthiest ‘Non-Profit’ Institution” by Samuel S. Epstein, M.D., International Journal of Health Services, Samuel S. Epstein, M.D., 1999, demonstrating how this organization has been corrupted over the years by conflicts of interest and big money of pharmaceutical companies which have more money than government.
Dr. Mukherjee is evidently not a scholar at all, but a propagandist whose aim is evidently to write many possibly true but worthless words which divert attention of the gullible lay or even professional reader from the main issue at hand; namely, the corrupt, dismal failure of the cancer generals of the failed war on cancer for about a half century now despite the squandering of over $100 billion, or up to $1 trillion by some estimates, of public and private dollars mostly squandered on worthless and corrupt non research not unlike the worthless book from which Mukherjee reads in this unlightening lecture above.
