DC residents can start applying for gun permits

Police in the District of Columbia are set to begin registering residents for handguns Thursday now that the district's 32-year-old ban has been lifted.

D.C.'s government reminds me of Catch 22's Colonel Scheiskopf. Instead of trying to see what they can get away with, they should respect the rulings of the Supreme Court.
