Time to ban all cars!!!!!
On the other hand, should we allow people to drive and shoot tanks on our roads? Don't you think there should be limits, background checks, healthcare that should include mental health?

There are many mentally ill people that could function better with medication.

Is the answer MORE guns?

It's a fact that NO ONE stopped the shooting rampage in gun-loving Arizona that resulted in the grave injury of Congresswoman Giffords and the murder of many others, children, adults, Democrats and Republicans.

The idea that so many by-standers probably had guns was NO DETERRENT or HELP AT ALL.

Is is evil, the son or the mother who raised the evil son, the woman who didn't secure her legally-owned guns? I'd say BOTH, but rather than evil, maybe they were mentally ill.

We only need to ask one simple question to determine “what could have set the teenage gunman off.” That question is: What psychiatric drug was he taking or withdrawing from? Sometimes simple questions are the hardest to ask. That question would be hard for the media to ask, because after reporting the event, taking station breaks for advertisements for antidepressants and sedatives might give big media editors and producers indigestion, since their very existence depends on Big Pharma sponsorship. That question would be hard for some politicians to ask because it might jeopardize Big Pharma campaign contributions (footnote 2). And that question might be hard for many Americans to ask because they are consuming psychiatric medications like candy.

Here's a guess!! The kid hated the mother! Reason one, she divorced the father, and he blamed her for the break up. Reason two, she spent more time with other children/teens and didn't show him the same affection. So!!! He kills her and then proceeds to kill the things that she loved more than him. Works for me!!!! No matter why, the kid was a looser.

I live about 13 miles away from the Amish community of Mercer/Sharon, Pa. They are some of the best hunters out there in the woods, so don't fool yourself.

That easy, huh? I don't think so. For one thing, MANY kids are products of divorce, and want their parents back under one roof. They may get upset when it doesn't happen, but few, in comparison to those who don't kill over it, do. He lived with his mother, which goes a long way to tellin' me he had no future plans, that would amount to enough to buy his own home (or even scavage the rent on a rat infested apt, car, and so on. Those kids he killed, were the reason he had food on his plate, and a roof over his head...probably a game system, blah blah blah...so don't go there!!

True. But one of the school shooting massacres in this country's history was at an Amish schoolhouse. 10 girls, ages 6-13 were shot, 5 girls died. The Amish do not use guns at all and they do not tolerate violence.
Go figure.

Another mass murdering white guy. As soon as one hears of this type of behavior, its almost always a white american male. Why are there so many, white mass murderers/serial killers, rapist, incest and pedophiles. Is it the subhuman neanderthal ancestry or simply defective genes.

Throughout history and the present white men seem to have a long list of evils. It's a good thing they are a soon to be extinct/dying breed of man. White men appear to be very cowardly as that seems to be the only excuse for their obsession with guns.

You people are psychotics !

I would love to know, how much influence, today's violent-natured computer games, had on some of these confused young shooters? My contention is that there is something in the process of attachment to these games that de-sensatizes them to shooting others, with no remorse....

There is only one true God, and we took Him out of our schools decades ago. Now we have guns in school instead. We have whole neighberhoods in our cities where they kill each other for sport every weekend. Do you think our beloved gangbangers will give up their guns peacefully? Good luck.

No, that would be too hard on the roads. People SHOULD be able to buy and drive and shoot their tank on their own property though, or on a shooting range set up for that.

Yes, there should be INSTANT background checks to check for felony convictions or mental health issues before anyone is allowed to buy any weapon. Of course that wouldn't make any difference in most of these mass shootings, because often they never bought the guns legally anyways, or as was the case this time he just used someone else's guns which he had easy access to.

There is no reason to try to ban others from having guns just because some nutjob decides to kill a bunch of people before offing himself.

Suprisingly correct.

Like most others I assumed the Amish were like regular farmers who treat their animals well because they know they can't make money off sick or abused animals. Unfortunately the Amish take the biblical view that animals are just beasts of burden to be used (and often abused) to service mankind. They literally drive their oxen & draft horses until they drop dead, then simply go get a new one.

Having grown up an a farm myself I'm not a nutjob vegan and don't believe in making farm animals into pets, but you also don't starve them or work them to death either.
