OK Jim, so you don't like the services provided by high tax rate states, and believe that the moves by Stanadyne's private equity owners are all about moving to lower cost locations. So tell us, are you willing to work for the kind of money that is paid in those low-cost areas? Stanadyne is not just moving production to North Carolina. They are also moving to India and China. Please tell us how eager you are to accept those kinds of wages, since you seem to be all in favor of relocation to reduce costs.

<quoted text> Before you complain - ask where in NC? Most of NC is a dump and full of hicks and makes Windsor look OK after all. I'll keep my fine schools here in Simsbury so my kids don't end up trailer trash thank you very much.
If anyone is still reading this old blog I just stumbled across this reply. The Plant is in Jacksonville, NC home of Camp lejeune one of the nations finest military establishments. Just to let you know we are not all dumb hicks we are natives from coast to coast of this great nation. Many of the workers at Stanadyne have fought for our freedom and in transition to civilian life chose employment at Stanadyne. Wisen up Ct.

Ct does need to get with the program, and start offering major incentives for manufacturing. The reality is no other growth is sustainable if you make nothing.
