'Too bad' the killer who killed the 27 people in Connecticut wasn't a criminal and too bad the NRA fought so hard to make sure he had access to this assault weapon and too bad the NRA hasn't stepped up and suggested that maybe assault weapons have no place in our civil society.

Look for changes... soon...

It seems Americans aren't going to let the last slaughter go.
It seems they are tired of the NRA "guns don't kill" mantra.
It's because they have no use for the truth.
barefoot2626 wrote:
It seems that, in fact, people do use guns to kill people including using assault weapons to put ten and eleven bullets into six year old children.
People use automobiles to kill people as well.
Nut in both cases it is the user that is doing the killing. Or have you seen a car or gun prosecuted for murder?

And just as ineffective as the last Assault Weapons Ban was, so will the new one.
Hmm, maybe the focus should be on the animals that misuse the guns.
Naw, that would be too logical.

Oh? Shooting and killing 27 people isn't a crime?

Liar. Show us exactly how that took place.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! ANY weapon can be used as an "assault weapon". Polluticians decide what that is and their willing sheep bleat out the call to ban them.

Yup. More ineffective changes.
I'll be stocking up even more on those hi-cap magazines and thinking of you the whole time! LOL!!!

let's see, in order to get access to the weapon of choice. didn't he first have to kill his mother with a pistol? that kind of makes him a criminal don't you think.

Of course, this isn't true: what an assault weapon is has been defined before with down to the model level.

Like porn, to paraphrase Judge Stewart: I know what an assault weapon is when I see it and we can define it for you dolts that are too stupid to know for yourselves.

Poor babbling Barry: we have already defined this as "before they pull the trigger".

Do try to keep up.

Though of course the NRA doesn't have problem screaming that no law abiding gun owner has ever committed a crime...

If the assault weapons ban had yet still been in place, the killer's mom would not have purchased the assault weapon her child used to kill those 27 women and children.

As I have already pointed out several dozen times: Americans are tired of NRA insisting someone is blaming guns for gun violence.

Come up with some new material.

He probably saw your "debate" when you insisted that Kentucky required photo ID to vote and I said you were wrong (and you were wrong) and you insisted that I show you the proof, and I showed you the EXACT law and you denied it and denied it and I jammed up your azz the EXACT law right out of the books more than fifty times while you continued to deny it... and then you finally asserted that the Kentucky law did not cover the part of Kentucky you lived in.
Fool me once...
The definition for assault weapon has been posted several times, Kneepads.
We can only conclude you really like things being jammed up your azz.
What is the military definition? There isn't any?? Don't gives us all your BS, you don't know what you're blabbering about. You are a loud mouth who thinks.. she knows it all. When in truth, if someone calls you on it, you'll slink off like the lil gurl you are..... Put a sock in it just once.

oh, so as long as you are defining terms what part of what i said was contrary to your definition. he shot his mother with a pistol then took four guns including the weapon that you are preoccupied with and drove to the school. would that not be two separate crimes, time had elapsed transportation was used and a totally different scenario developed. would then he have been a criminal before he entered the school?

by your definition every criminal was a law abiding citizen.
by what you have written wouldn't it be true that if a person commits a crime he is not a law abiding citizen therefore law abiding citizens don't commit crimes? simple english and simple math.

Someone please enlighten the mentally challenged, seat belts aren't guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, guns are, and that is why it will be very difficult for the gun grabbers to do anything about gun owners owning all the guns they want, any kind they can afford, and ammo. Already Illinois is backing away from a gun ban, because they don't have the votes. Politicians want to keep their cushy job, they are motivated by greed, and ego. NRA has millions of members, and millions of dollars to use against any anti gun candidate. Now go cry in your beer. The bill comes up January 20th

Yeah, and gun owners for example, should have the right to know which hypocrite liberal politicians either have one or employ someone that does.

Maybe so, but not automatic or assault guns and no mega amounts of bullets in a clip. Those "freedoms" are going and none too soon. A human being shouldn't need anything like those weapons against 'varmints'. Granted, people who think it is freedom to own weapons meant for warfare and fighting crime are already operating on a minimized intellectual level and a very false sense of what is "freedom" and what isn't. Most of us do not want maniacs raving about their freedom to own sophisticated weaponry in order to protect themselves from "varmints" to be allowed anywhere near any kind of gun. That just doesn't make any sense at all.
Why are you against the constitution? Do you hate America that much, as much as Obama and Pelosi.

When any one of these twits type "Americans" or "America", they're talking about the 20% who identify themselves as either liberal or progressive.

I'd love to see these fools try and do away with the 2nd Amendment. The beat down they'd take would be hilarious.

Why do you think anyone here thinks you know a thing about the US Constitution, Dumbo?

Or anything you- or your aliases- post?

Isn't the very reason you post under multiple aliases indicate you know this already?

Is it about time for you to retire this alias, Dumbo?
