To our fellow Patriots in Conn., N.Y. and other Authoritarian trending States.
We here at Iconic Industries Inc. believe, like the Supreme Court of the United States affirmed in their "Heller" decision, that the natural Right protected by the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution is an individual Right, and that it precedes the Constitution. Indeed, being "inalienable" we believe that it existed with the very first human. We think it obvious that the phrase "shall not be infringed" plainly means "Don't even touch the outside fringe of the Right".
From 1968 and the Gun Control Act of that year up until the present day, the Federal Government has more or less recognized the right of an individual to manufacture their own personal firearms. According to Federal law so-called 80% "receivers" can be "finished" by the end user WITHOUT a background check as long as the end user is not what the law designates as an "otherwise prohibited" person. Also according to Federal law the resulting personal weapon does NOT need to be legally serialized or registered (State laws exist and are being conjured up daily to restrict this access. Check and follow your local and State laws.). In our opinion this "80%" process was the Federal government's tacit acknowledgment of the personal and "individual" nature of the 2nd Amendment.
There is nothing in our minds which seems to define the exercise of this "Individual" Right more personally than for a Citizen to actually procure their firearms in this fashion.
Clearly the current political maelstrom surrounding Personal Defense Weapons indicates a clear and present danger to Liberty. If this trend is not stopped and reversed, history shows that registration will lead to confiscation. At that point we believe that Citizens become Subjects. Americans are NOT subjects.
To stand with, encourage and commemorate the rugged, determined and principled stand that many of our fellow Citizens have shown in the face of aggressive State authoritarianism, we are offering a specially engraved 80% "paperweight" starting with our recognition of the citizens of Connecticut.
These special edition "paperweights" are discounted $20.00 plus free shipping to any address in Connecticut (or relevant State)(Can not be used in conjunction with other discounts.)
Other States to follow shortly.
As a final note we quote Henry David Thoreau
“Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.”
