This makes way too much sense for the average American to grasp. Also, it is way easier to make feel-good laws that only scratch the surface to calm the ignorant masses.

The Physicians' Desk Reference lists the following adverse reactions (side effects) to psychiatric drugs among a host of other physical and neuropsychiatric effects.
Manic Reaction (Mania, e.g., Kleptomania, Pyromania, Dipsomania, Nymphomania)
Hypomania (e.g., poor judgment, over spending, impulsivity, etc.)
Emotional Lability (Or Instability)
Alcohol Abuse and/or Craving
Akathisia (Severe Inner Restlessness)
Discontinuation (Withdrawal) Syndrome
None of these adverse reactions (side effects) is listed as Rare. They are all listed as either Frequent or as Infrequent.
We always find out school shooters are on these drugs.
