Dear Legislators

Being a Vietnam Veteran through Federal Govt taught me how to shoot a M- 16, throw grenades and shoot a LAWS missile launcher.

I find it rather absurd that now you are trying to restrict law abiding citizens , especially those of us who are Veterans.

The question remains " Why did this tragedy happen? Did the gun get angry and on its own go out a shoot people? No of course not.

This situation to me is rather easy to see yet NOT 1 person i have noted has ever stated what is rather obvious to me. The medical condition of Lanza and the drugs he was taking were the reasons he was he shot people in Conn.

According to what i have read , 80-90% of these mass killers are on some sort of psychotropic drug medications. Holmes was in Colorado and was Lanza important Conn.

So where is the same criticism that had been levied towards the NRA not chastising the medical community. This is clearly a misdiagnosis of a medical or mental health condition or a Pharmacy condition as either Lanza was on the wrong.meds or was given to much medication or not enough medication by the medical community .

So if there is someone to blame here blame Lanza and the Medical Communities malfeasence and lack of monitoring a patient who was on psychotropic drugs and could barely be controlled .
The medical community along with the Pharmaceutical community failed us not the laws or lack of laws with reference to weapons.

STOP blaming people with psychiatric illnesses for societies ills.
In FACT, this population has a smaller percentage of violence than the general public. In FACT, this population is more likely to be a victim of violent crime than the general public.

As far as Malloy's gun control laws:

Get 'em now. Because while the NSA, Homeland Security, DOJ and our elected officials continue
to chip away at our privacy each day, Americans continue to suck on the same old propaganda....
"It's for our safety."

So, when our police departments and FBI snitches (assigned in every community) start donning brownshirts, they won't be the only ones with the weapons.

Psychiatric drugs may increase suicidal thoughts or behaviors in some children, teenagers, and young adults, especially within the first few months of treatment or when the dose is changed.

Patients on psychiatric drugs and their families or caregivers should watch for new or worsening depression symptoms, unusual changes in behavior, or thoughts of suicide. Such symptoms should be reported to the patient's healthcare provider right away, especially if they are severe or occur suddenly

Im not from the gun debate club , these drugs almost killed me. I like to spread the word.

Pharmaceutical company spending on marketing far exceeds that spent on research. In Canada,$1.7 billion was spent in 2004 to market drugs to physicians; in the United States,$21 billion was spent in 2002. In 2005 money spent on pharmaceutical marketing in the US was estimated at $29.9 billion with one estimate as high as $57 billion. When the US numbers are broken down, 56% was free samples, 25% was detailing of physicians, 12.5% was direct to user advertising, 4% on hospital detailing, and 2% on journal ads..

what drugs was the shooter taking this time ?

Adam wasn't even at that school . No proof that anyone was . I say it was all a drill and not an actual school day . None of them children heard 154 loud as hell gunshots did they ? All the classrooms are in the same section and they only heard anything at all over the intercom ? The bus driver and other adult as well as half a dozen children that Gene spoke of have never come forward .Eugene Rosen I call you out . You are a Liar . Want to decimate me too ?`They got a saying in Tennessee . Well I don't know if it's in Tennessee . But they have a saying in Texas : Fool me once shame on ... shame on you . Fooled can't get fooled again .`
