Wait, what??? But I thought the economy was doing soooo much better! I thought the jobs reports showed more and more people were getting jobs! I thought nearly doubling minimum wage to $15 wasnt going to have a bad effect on hiring. I though Obama was gonna save us all. Maybe the reason MA hasnt had any jobs rebound is due to the taxes our legislature piles on businesses year in and year out. maybe its the FACT that MASS is losing its tax paying population at the same rate as it is gaining low income housing %s.
Perhaps the problem/solution is in our own state legislatures. Perhaps if we started voting in a two party system with check and balances, one party wont drive the state into the river like MA's all Democratic House and Senate. You would think that with no opposing party in charge you could just legislate your way to prosperity and happiness. Problem is the Democrats are driving MA into the same fate that Detroit is now living through.
But keep voting all those Democrats in MA! After all, weve been doing so good the past few decades... ohhh wait....
