Conn. National Guard embraces new flying mission
Maj. Gen. Thaddeus Martin said he realized last November that there was shrinking support in the Air Force for the new C-27 Spartan cargo planes, which Connecticut had expected to receive this year.

Will these planes have a first-priority use here in the US for national emergencies (tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, blizzards, fires)- since they ARE the 'national guard'- or priority for dropping 'humanitarian relief' to our enemies in sand-countries?
