Thanks to ARC (Animal Rescue Corps)if it had NOT been for these fine rescuers these poor starving, sick dogs would still be in the hands of this evil woman Shannon Lacewell. ARC has a facebook page if you would like to read more about the rescue and see the disturbing video's. The abuse had been going on for many years. People had called the Graves County Sheriff to report this abuse. But it was NEVER looked into.

This guy was in CT at Petco a few times. He was affiliated with Shannon Lacewell and working for her. She was coming to Petco and trying to get her dogs adopted out.

If you see him again. Contact your local sheriff department, he has a warrant out for his arrest in Adair County, Kentucky. He abused over 200 + animals. He was living with this Satan Shannon Lacewell.

To add to my last comment to @Shaz. The reason why it's SO important to contact your local sheriff, is because he is more than likely still transporting animals for someone else.

Please take a look at this video that ARC has released. It's the up dates on the dogs after the Valentine Day rescue from Satan Shannon Lacewell home/shelter in Wingo, Ky. Before and after footage. Just heartbreaking.

Please cross-post this video regarding the Shannon Lacewell (aka:Paws Claws & More) case from Wingo, KY. Lacewell goes to court the end of this month. What these animals endured on her property is pure torture. I met the 2 guys who transported the dogs to CT.
The first guy, named Dave was a nice and caring guy. The dogs LOVED him. I spoke to him in CT and he didn't agree with a lot of things that Shannon dictated. He was mostly at Petsmart. Then he had to move to Petco in Manchester( due to someone objecting to the sick dogs they were selling. He had NO control). He was there only a couple of times before he quit. Then there was another guy. I don't know who.
Dave told me he was quitting transporting dogs to CT. This was in the Summer of 2011. CT had a law in place about pets having to be Vet checked within 24 hrs to CT. He really just wanted to place the remaining dogs he had in his transport.
Dave told me that majority of dogs came from a horrible Tenn puppy mills. These dogs were going to be euthanized. I thought the dogs were filthy and in rough shape, but I've seen past adopters from CT come by and have beautiful dogs. I thought the remaining dogs just needed some TLC.
My guess is that once the transport to CT (and the money of $350 per pet)dried up due to new laws in place, Shannon didn't have the money, or motivation to continue. Some dogs were probably pregnant or sick from the puppy mill, and not being seen by a Vet. She was stuck with 100 dogs. She should have done something about it.

Need to make some comments & corrections.
The CT law you referenced did not take effect until the Fall of 2011, and they were out of Petsmart &, probably, CT by then.
According to Shannon's web site, they housed no animals so how did they get "get stuck" with the 100 dogs.
Complaints about Shannon began in about 2009; type her name in your browser's search box.
Dave was arrested & convicted in 2009 for 295 counts of animal cruelty; http://fortheloveofthedogblog.com/news-update... .
