It's no wonder California is quite broke these days. Illegals can go to college on taxpayer's money...how awesome is that. You can go to any welfare office in the state and you will see nothing but brown faces, hear nothing but Spanish being spoken by the workers and then there's the screaming anchor babies....LOL. California has the honor of being the first of the official Northern United States of Mexico.

The laws are being broken and there is a remedy. The remedy is very simple, enforce the immigration Laws already on the books. Why should we as Americans have to put up with all of the ills that these illegal foreigners bring with them? WE are paying 100's of billions of dollars for the care of 10's of millions of people who do not belong here. Why is that so hard to understand? They have their own culture, countries and language. Let them and their children, march, cry and bitch to their own Govt officials. WE do not owe them!!

1. Illegals DO NOT get money from the government to go to college. The way they get money is by scholarships. Usually funded by different organizations. Or they work for it!

2. Yes while SOME do get welfare not every illegal is on welfare. When illegals become legal residents ie. Green card, citizenship they must have a sponsor. Meaning that they are not allowed to get welfare, food stamp or any other form of aid. If they do the sponsor ends up paying for it not the tax payer.

and the can also get free student aide, which means students who are citizens will lose out do to those funds going towards illegal aliens, and the way things now work soon it will only be illegal aliens who will get this aide.

“But Lenz said the university remains committed to providing financial aid to students from low- and middle-income families. Most UC students from families earning less than $80,000 a year pay no tuition.”
In other words if you are an illegal alien and your family reports under $80.000.00 in income a year you pay no tuition. Those who come her on a student visa or are from American citizens from outside of California are facing a 6% increase each year for the next 5 years to support free education for illegals.

brown gives illegal aliens all these gifts and now is trying to take away from citizens in other ways to cover the costs, even wanting to raise the already high taxes.

What you say is true.

These law makers would close the borders and sweep the State clean of illegals, if we legal law abiding citizens called for "open borders" and more illegal immigrants.

Funded by the tax payer.

Cal Grants are funded by the State of California with a small portion of funding from the Federal Government through the Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership Program (LEAP).

"Usually funded by different organizations. Or they work for it!"
It's illegal for illegal aliens to work in this country.

"When illegals become legal residents ie. Green card, citizenship they must have a sponsor. Meaning that they are not allowed to get welfare, food stamp or any other form of aid. If they do the sponsor ends up paying for it not the tax payer."

"What kind of cash assistance can qualified immigrants get?
Two kinds of cash assistance: Safety Net Assistance and Family Assistance. Both give you the same amount of money. Cash assistance is paid twice for a month for food, clothing and housing. The amount of money you get depends on how many people are in your home and what your income is.

What are the requirements for receiving cash assistance?
The type of cash assistance you receive depends on when you came to the U.S.

Safety Net Assistance: You can get Safety Net Assistance no matter when you came to the U.S.
Family Assistance: You can get Family Assistance if you came to the U.S. before August 22, 1996, and you have lived in this country since then. If you came to the U.S. on or after August 22, 1996, you have to wait five years before you can get Family Assistance. There is no waiting period to get Family Assistance if you are a permanent resident. There is also no waiting period to get Family Assistance if you are the husband, wife or unmarried child of a permanent resident who is in the military or was honorably discharged."

Intelligent law abiding legal U.S. citizens know better than to fall for old, and very much dis-proven, "illegal immigrants don't get/receive government money/aid" line of pro-illegal propaganda.

Many of those who continue to spew such pro-illegal/criminal propaganda most likely have or, or more, vested interests in illegal immigration (i.e. they're profiting from the illegal drug trade, human smuggling, public assistance fraud and/or profiteering, I.D. theft/fraud, anchor baby benefits, etc, etc.
