Yes. Not forced to pack, but allowed. Crime would drop tremendously.

I can't continue this banter any longer with you. It's just not fair to you, and makes me feel as if I'm picking on the slow kid in school. MUUWAH!
Oh how it must be so very good to be the great you. Very well to do, great portfolio and one of the great wordsmiths of our time. Funny thing is that when people start to brag about things it has been mostly found that they are the opposite of what they say. That is what the internet was invented for.

It aint gonna happen, no one is going to voluntarily bring their guns in their current collections in for registration, the federal government will create the world's largest black market of unregistered firearms. The long gun registry didn't work in Canada and it sure aint gonna work here.

ATF gives away a free machine gun...LOL!

http://wtaq.com/news/articles/2013/feb/01/con...

UNDATED (WSAU) The House judiciary chairman and three other congressional leaders are demanding answers about the A-T-F’s botched operation in Milwaukee. They fired off a seven-page letter yesterday to Todd Jones, the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. The congressional leaders want written answers to over two dozen questions about a fake business set up by the A-T-F in Milwaukee called Fearless Distributing. It was designed to take in illegal guns and drugs.

But the Journal Sentinel said somebody burglarized the place after it was open for 10 months and stole $35,000 worth of items, including an agent’s machine gun. And the A-T-F left the building with thousands of dollars in damage, while leaving a sensitive document behind.

People have been nice to this woman. a lot nicer if there was something equitable with a person having an R next to his/her name. Its time for her to take a hike. Gabby or Gumby or whatever should take her drooling mug out of our lives with her husband who should have been worrying more about the the crashing and burning of the space program do to politics but in keeping with the downgrading of America, why not go from the "right stuff" to the "semi good stuff". And he knows it. Now will someone wipe the spittle from her chin?

Pratt has founded a variety of organizations, including English First, Gun Owners of America, U.S. Border Control, and Committee to Protect the Family.[13]

Pratt is the president of English First, an organization within the English-only movement.[14] The organization was founded in 1986, and works to pass English Only amendments at both state and federal levels. Pratt also helped found and served as secretary of the Council for Inter-American Security, which was founded in 1976.[3][13] Pratt has served as a board member of the American Legislative Exchange Council, founded by Paul Weyrich.

Larry Pratt has also been listed as a member of the Council for National Policy (CNP).[15][16][17] A January 13, 2001 article in The Guardian explored Pratt's relationship with then-Attorney General nominee John Ashcroft, stating they knew each other from the CNP.[18] The January 11, 2001 edition of TIME Magazine included an article on Pratt and Ashcroft's relationship.[14]

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Pratt used his Committee to Protect the Family organization to raise $150,000 for the anti-abortion group Operation Rescue which paid $50,000 in court-imposed fines.[19][20]

In 2004 Frazer invited to South Armagh Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America, an advocate of citizen's militias who had written approvingly of their use against insurgencies in Central America and the Philippines.[33]

Frazer came to wider attention in October 2005 when he got into a public argument with a Redemptorist priest, Father Alec Reid. Frazer made remarks that Catholics had butchered Protestants during the Troubles. Father Reid likened unionist treatment of Catholics to the treatment of the Jews by the Nazis. Reid later apologised for the remark, saying he had lost his temper. Frazer reported Reid to the police for incitement to hatred,[34] but no legal action ensued.

In March 2010, he claimed to have served a civil writ on deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, of Sinn Féin, seeking damages arising from the killing of Frazer's father by the IRA. Sinn Féin and the courts denied that any such writ had been served, but in June 2010 Frazer announced that he would seek to progress his claim in the High Court.[35] There has since been no report of any such litigation.Frazer had previously picketed McGuinness's home in Derry in 2007 to demand support for calls for Libya to compensate victims of IRA attacks.Accompained by two other men Frazer attempted to post a letter to the house but was confronted by local residents and verbally abused.[36]

When McGuinness stood for election in the 2011 Irish presidential election Frazer announced that he and FAIR would picket the main Sinn Féin election events. He said, "If the people of the South want a terrorist to represent them around the world as their president then heaven help them."[37] In the event, however, no such pickets took place.

In October 2011 he attended a protest in Pomeroy against the use of rubble from a demolished police station to level out the playing field of the local GAA club, which hosts an annual tug-of-war event in memory of Seamus Woods, an IRA member killed by the premature explosion of a mortar while attacking the station.[38] The station was the target of many such IRA attacks during The Troubles.[39] Frazer stated that "moving the rubble to the GAA club would cause a lot of heartache for many families. The unionist population is small in Pomeroy and they certainly feel betrayed."[38]

That is because people had less access to crime, and less schools were open, and kids were more "innocent", stupid!
And schools were not self defense free zones. Go anywhere and try that crap and a citizen with a gun would cap you. Remember police and any law enforcement was few and far between. No 911 or police radios or cars to get them there. You pretty much had to fend for yourself. Few laws stopping citizens from defending themselves so the deterrent value of the gun worked. Even stealing a horse was reason to blow criminals away, as it should be. Not much has changed except infringement on law abiding citizens to defend themselves and property. Oh yes the police still arrive just in time to draw a caulk line. Kids were more disciplined not just turned loose in the street. Innocent? Not hardly, most could hunt and tend a farm and work by the time they were 10. Many married before 16 with a low divorce rate. They were taught responsibility not how to make meth or shoplift. Stupid? YES YOU ARE.

Study your history. I was hunting alone at 12. Dressed out my first deer at 13. My grandfather was hunting alone at 9. NONE of us went on killing sprees. At 15 I had my own truck (that I worked and paid for myself) and drove myself to school and yes kept a gun in the gun rack as did many students. We just looked at a gun as any other tool not some mystical piece of metal that altered our mental ability. You are a fool and an idiot.

Jacob "Jake" Horton (died April 10, 1989) was a senior vice-president of Southern Company's Gulf Power Unit, killed when a corporate plane caught fire and crashed, shortly after takeoff from Pensacola, Florida. Journalist Greg Palast has alleged that Horton was murdered, by the corporation, in order to prevent him from accusing the Board of Directors of making illegal payments to politicians
