I get you think so, I mean we have all watched you insist for MONTHS...

but how you feel has no bearing on reality...

Where in that post did I say "I feel x,y,z.......?"

What has no bearing on reality is how you think you're fooling anyone.

Isn't is more consonant with your general perpsective on gay issues that when a dog salivates a behavioral psychologist has to ring a bell?

It has certainly appeared to be, so far.

Just as Maggie Gallagher & Brian Brown & all the hypocrital Bishop's in dresses do more for marriage equality than most of us could ever hope to do. And they're a lot more high profile than any of us on topix.

Now that NOM has targeted Illinios lawmakers, it's pretty much guaranteed marriage equality will pass there soon.

see in govt you need a REAL majority, not a "growing majority"...

Yeah, right. Nice try at a guilt trip. "Your side" is losing this war, one battle at a time... and it has absolutely nothing to do with me, or what I write in these forums. When SCOTUS rules this year, I hope your head explodes. In the meantime, I'll enjoying watching you make a fool of yourself by pretending to be a lawyer.

Old news.

The bill passed out of committee on an 8-5 vote.

According to the bill's sponsor, the reason there aren't currently enough votes to pass it on the senate floor is 3 of their supporters aren't present due to family emergencies.

The bill will likely wait until the new legislature takes over on the 9th, at which time the Dems will have super-majorities in both the House & Senate.

We can wait another week for equality if need be.
