On the morning of July 11, 2012, the House of Bishops rejected the form of B021, which had been proposed to allow an easy, five month plan to dissolve the relationship between a bishop and a diocese. The House of Bishops appeared strong and unified as they spoke against the canon that gave Jefferts Schori an easy way to remove an accused bishop ...

It's not what she said, but what she didn't say when she listed what the primary focus of the church should be, but didn't even mention the Gospel!
If you want to think that a half hour interview with a magazine reporter, every one of which has an agenda or an intent, is final evidence defining what a person does for the rest of the year, you are not only naive, you are cuckoo.

Actions speak louder than words. The whole thrust of the Ministry of Jesus Christ was and is that actions speak louder than words.

When He sent His disciples out on mission, two by two, His instructions were not just to go around preaching scripture or saying just the right things to please the Pharisees.

Now. For the last time in this conversation, I am going to state clearly the issue in these remarks. PB Katherine Jefferts-Schori is an active priest in the Ministry of Jesus Christ. Her actions in helping to define the elements of this Ministry are legitimate, valuable, properly focused and in keeping with the directions and commandments given by Jesus to His disciples.

Period. End of conversation.

So ubber-liberal Time magazine has an agenda contrary to Schori?

And this isn't the first interview in which Schori has either omitted, or downplayed the Gospel, which is supposed to be central to the Christian faith, but is obviously not central to the "faith" of TEC's PB.

This is too silly to waste time on in any way. AS if the Presiding Bishop can order the church to do what she wants it to do on her own authority.

We discuss and vote on everything in TEC. No person or minority can force the Convention to vote one way or the other. That is so the Holy Spirit can let the entire membership reach consensus and be united as one body in Christ.

The Presiding Bishop is not challenged. It is the General Convention that governs even her. Please forget you Church of Rome or England paradigms.

Sorry, that is your own personal delusion.

Your simple assertion of the statement is not enough.

Please show us how she did what you claimed based on published and creditable sources.

Also

Please provide us with a copy of your statement of faith, creed(s) or any other clear statement of your faith so we can better understand your comments.

It is obvious from your own statements made here in the past that you have serious reservations about making an honest commitment but at least give it a try. Your many of your past changes in churches and faith show us that none is pure enough for your high standards. At least attempt to be civilized and give us a statement of your beliefs. We give you examples daily from open and public sources regarding our faith as civilized and educated beings are expected to do in a ‘civilized community’.

I'm not interesting in satisfying you, but the simple fact is that under the newly revised Title IV, PB Schori can intrude into another bishop's diocese, undermining his authority whenever she wishes.

Schori has destroyed the very episcopal structure that TEC gets its name from it.

The fact is you don't cite the facts.

The Presiding Bishop is not allowed to do what you say, unrestrained. Furthermore, in General Convention, the House of Bishops voted to restrain this and future presiding Bishops as to Title IV by requiring a supermajority vote to remove a bishop from his or her office.

You are full of Baloney!

What's it to you, anyway? You're not even a member of TEC - or are you? Which is it?

LOL - The man with no known religious affiliation other then being the Primate of the Church of the Null Set is telling us how our church is governed. He can't even produce a statement of his own faith or structure of his own church. Now that is really funny!

An Official Pontifical Encyclical statement from Primate Null Set of the Only True Faith.

The "fact" you cited never happened because it died in committee.

Oh, Baloney!

The absconders are being held to account for their own attempted hijacking of accounts and squatting in real estate that they do not own.

Plain and simple.

Plus, they all knew this would happen to them or at least their leaders did. They just hoped it would take much longer for The Episcopal Church to catch up to them and haul their little coyotebutts into court.

Now they are getting their justly deserved deserts.
