Sounds like she gets a tidy settlement from the pagent organizers especially whenever you see a confidential settlement listed! Good for her!
Nice role model you got there...an underage girl sending naked videos of herself to an adult. Uh, conserv and hetero lover, shouldn't her boyfriend be arrested for child pornography? Oh,sorry, you hate a silly guy who asked her a valid question, yet you give the possesor, and DISTRIBUTOR of child porn a free pass. Nice, you prefer the child pornography distributor to a gay person. That says all we need to know!

They assisted with lawyer bills, she'll see nothing from it. Again she did not disclose this pornographic tape, so she was in violation of her contract. Maybe she should have listed complusive liar as one of her talents. Thanks to this being revealed, book sellers have cut back their order on her "ghost written" autobiography. She'll be gone soon:)

Go ahead and continue to misuse the Bible it doesn't help your cause...
You just show yourself to fall in line with the others (boring status quo).

BTW,'hypocrite' is derived from the Greek root re: actors, who act.

What's apparent is not everyone grasps the concept - as evidenced by your comments. So the ill-informed posters continue to spout off their lack of knowledge. What's new?

A hypocrite is one who CURRENTLY behaving in a way (doing the act or acting out with the behavior at issue) and "claiming" that they are NOT [acting in that way] AND the actor is condemning those who are committing said act!

Here, that is NOT the case with Carrie - an individual who did committed a childish prank/act and is NOT currently committing that very act.

The fact of the matter she honestly admitted that she committed a stupid mistake [in judgment] that she never anticipated would come to light in this manner. She's paying for it now, but is still standing. She called it "the biggest mistake of my life." She hasn't denied she made the recording.

So, "Hypocrite..."

RE: your misuse of Jer. 20:4,5 scripture passage. It is important to be sure to utilize the correct context of the passage.

The accuser, Zophar, asserts that Job had to have been a 'hypocrite' because he suffered at the hands of the enemy of his soul.

Guess what -- like you and your fellow posters -- Zopar was WRONG!

Bible commentator, Matthew Henry wrote: "Zophar proceeds very plainly to show the ruin and destruction of wicked people, insinuating that because Job was destroyed and ruined he was certainly a wicked man and a hypocrite."

Everyone should know that 'bad things happen to good people.' Which does NOT mean that the person is a hypocrite or wrongdoer, as was the case with Job, who suffered greatly for a season (he was neither). But the rest of his story ends with renewal, goodness, and prosperity.

To iterate, the accuser, Zopar was wrong, just as YOU are wrong!

Golly, I guess you're right.

She's not currently making a sex tape (that we know of).
She's not currently having her boobs enlarged (that we know of).
She's not currently lying about things she's done in the past while preaching against those same things (that we know of).

So I guess right at this moment, she's not a hypocrite (that we know of...)

If you want a quick blessed flash of the godly one, type in 'Carrie Prejean's nipples' and her NAKED photos flash up in a nano second. There are her Godly breasts all EXPOSED for all the world to see. NAKED, like some whore on a stipper pole.
Sorry, I like my religious role models NOT quite so NAKED.
Though I understand churches are suffering loss of congregations. Maybe she can give inspirational talks to draw in the crowds, NAKED, of oourse. It'll be win win and the only thing she is really good at! NUDITY.

Your attack on Carrie Prejean is typical of gay bigotry, misogyny, and persecution of Christians. No wonder people vote against your marriage "rights" in droves.

I didn't force her to run around with teatons flapping in the breeze. It was HER choice. Now she can deal with it. Face it, if she had been fired for any other reason other than the highly publicized one, you would not be giving her a sustained thought. I'm sorry if your celibacy was threatend by looking at Carrie's NAKEDNESS.

As for Prejean, she is the hypocrite. She artificially 'enhances' her body, poses nude, makes a sex tape, and then presumes to dictate morality to the rest of the world. LOL! What a bimbo.
I won't comment on your first paragraph. But I agree with you 100% on the second one. That tape BTW is not just "posing". She is in full-on self-pleasure. Gay or straight, you gotta check it out. Perhaps not so much as for the turn-on, but to keep in your mind next time she speaks out against immoral behavior.

Not sure if that mitigates your gay bigotry, though and mysogyny, though.

If a gay causes a stir (like a lesbian demanding to wear a tux at her HS prom and flaunting her orientationa and sincere beliefs) that's just fine and dandy. Double standard, of course. You're certainly entitled to it, but others are entitled to note, and object to it.

And if I get to look at her nakedness, it would be rude of me to decline.

Oh, please, you guys should be glad I am out of the running. Less competition for those lucky gals out there.
As for double standard of the high school porm mess you mentioned. If you are referring to an actual event instead of theoretical one do you really believe that is the same thing? I don't know all the circumsances of that one, but do you really believe it is similar situation? Was that girl touting holy religion as her agenda the way Carrie was?
The real larfs of this one are her self righteous behavior. Everyone loves to see the high and mighty tumble. Look how gleefully the press reports a famous person's troubles, no matter what the circumsances. This one is especially hot button, however. It involves the great love of homophobia this country has. And before you puff up like a toad, I KNOW your lack of homophobia, I am speaking of the many who do glory in it.
I grow tired of this topic big time, yet am drawn back. It is just so much fun to poke the bear cages here and hear the roars.

The lesbian didn't cause the stir by wanting to wear a tux in her yearbook photo. The school administration caused the stir by refusing to let her wear what she wanted to in the photo. Considering her rigorous participation at the school, it seems they could have at least let her do that. There are still countries that dictate what women must wear, but the United States is not one of them.

This is about her hypocrisy of making a sex tape, posing nude for modeling, posing for slutty Halloween costumes etc and she parades around as the higher moral figure. Stay on topic.

The so-called "Christians" has a nasty record of going after minorities in this country. Do some research before you make ignorant comments. Religious groups fought so hard for religious freedom, only to put themselves in a place of power to dictate the rights of others. Because of that Christianity os on the decline here in America and losing more and more youths due to it's anti-gay views:)

I think the woman is trying to extend her 15 minutes of fame in order to promote a book. It would seem that anyone can write a book, even someone who doesn't read them.

Interesting quote. I wonder what Jefferson (if the quote is accurate) meant with the sentence about uniformity... was it in reference to the uniform application of the penalties mentioned, or that he lamented said penalties had not had the (possibly desired) effect of making everyone Christian?

Always amusing to watch the integrity-challenged spin themselves silly blaming everybody else. The student was wrong and seemingly desperate fpr attention. The school was right and caved to threats of litigation. And the student got her attention. Lose-lose.

In case you weren't properly brought up, children don't always get what they throw tantrums for. Children are expected to follow rules. Children who get their way through tantrums often find difficulties properly functioning in an adult world that doens't cave in to tantrums.

Her "rigorous participation" in school does not give her special privelege to make the rules. And if she were such a "rigorous participant" in school, it would not be unreasonable to expect that she follows the rules of that school. But no. She (and you) want yet another exception and want yet another reason to get attention... while claiming to be like everybody else.

So which is it? Are you normal or different?

Thank you for noting my lack of homophobia.

When I was much younger (sadly we seem to be similar in age), my sister was a ballet dancer and I worked backstage. So yes, I did understand the reduced competition... and take shameless advantage of it.(My momma didn't raise no fool.)

I have no problem considering Prejean not much of an intellectual challenge. She's a pageant princess. What kind of future is there in that? I also note the feeding frenzy whenever the usual suspects think they can say anything negative about her. Gotta wonder who has the more fragile tiara. The pageant queen? Or the other queens.

Too close to call.
