I remember the wonderful summer days in Washingtonn state in the 1980's when our multi-stakes dance festivals took place. My husband and I taught and danced the waltz in 3 dance festivals with stakes from Longview WA to Salem OR -- what great days! congratulations!!!

I was in the East LA Stake Dance Festival in 1976. It was the greatest experience of my life.
We all miss having the Dance Festivals.

I hope you keep it going....Cindy

I was in the 1976 Rose-bowl dance, I was scared out of my head but when we got going it was so fun.

I was in the same dance festival that year. We did the Charleston and the Lindy. My partner ended up changing and her and I ended up dating for over a year after that. Our teacher was Sister
Barnett, I don't remember her married name. We had a total blast. Do you remember throwing up in the air the tambourine tops and watching them fly everywhere? So much fun.
