Truth is most, if not all, of these high powered steroids in so-called "contraception" are in fact abortifacients quite often, almost 100% of the time for Plan B and ella. The latter is nearly chemically identical to the French abortion pill, mifepristone (aka RU 486). Sebelius, as usual, bald faced lied that this is based on science. It is all leftist politically driven. The science shows these steroids are turning up in the water and impacting the environment and humans in a negative way that banned items like mercury and lead could never do. Besides killing millions of American preborn babies annually, they do pose a serious and real imminent threat to peoples' health with over 14 million women using them regularly. WHO, hardly a pro-life group, has stated repeatedly that the steroids in "birth control" are Class I carcinogens, the highest and riskiest category of chemicals that definitively cause cancer.

Heath insurance should cover it. Now we just need the elected officials to adopt the recommendations.

Sebelius called the recommendations "historic," saying they are based on science.

LOL, she is too stupid to understand what true science is, this is all politics and liberal agenda.

Special treatment for gender is sexist. Endless spending is unconstitutional and may cause a civil war...

What the hell do people think other generations have done all their lives?? PAY that's what they have done? SO, people can PAY!

The Pill is chemical warfare against women and their unborn children, but brain-washed clueless women continue to take the new "Sacrament" daily. Unlike guinea pigs, these women clean up their own cages and generally pay for being guinea pigs in one of the largest and deadliest medical experiments of the modern era. Women of the world - wake-up and rebel. The womb is man's first environment. Stop polluting it with abortifacient drugs and IUDs.

There are so many things wrong with your thinking, I don't know where to begin. First of all birth control is not a medication. It will prevent unplanned pregnancies, which if a woman who can't afford $9 a month generic BC in the first place, has a baby she definately cannot afford, guess who pays for that baby???? YOU and I.

Improving access to birth control, particularly IUDs and implants, coupled with education on the most effective methods has the potential to significantly decrease the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions. However, one of the popular birth controls, MIrena IUD, has been reported to cause serious side-effects on its users. In fact, there are a number of lawsuits filed against its manufacturers. If you want to know more about Mirena and its side effects, key-in "Mirena lawsuit" in Google or refer at mirenalawsuit.us/iuds-like-mir ena-widely-used-but-controvers ial-contraceptive-devices/ for more related information.
